ok so the thing is. we have diluc and his insane loyalty to mondstadt right thats the crux of a lot of diluven fics. and then we have the tension between jean and diluc and their past and their similar values but opposing ideologies as the crux of jeanluc. And then then i never see anyone talk about this but jean is Also incredibly devoted to barbatos right. although perhaps her devotion is more to the people, whereas i feel like dilucs devotion is more to the idea of freedom. anyways this can be picked apart in the fic but what i was Thinking about
is taking a jeanluc start and just. Imposing venti on them. like, dunk all their complicated feelings on freedom and duty and give that pot a good stir with the fact that their god to whom they are both very loyal is this annoying as fuck twink. i would have to think about the exact dynamics a lot bc jeanluc i have a good grasp on i feel and diluven too, but jeanven not so much.
but like, do u see the vision? acting grandmaster x uncrowned king x Their God of Freedom. i just think there is so much potential in it but its difficult bc i feel like its gonna blur the lines of romance and intimacy and belief a lot. but thats the fun part i think!!! so i could start post-stormterror after ventis identity is revealed to them, and figure stuff out from there, with the theft of the gnosis and shit and just figure shit out from there
