do you like cities???

Sometimes. The constant hustle and bustle can be a bit much, but the warm beds are a definite win.

Oh my gosh cities are my favourite! There's so many people, and you can sit in a corner of a public park or something and just watch people go past living their lives and dancing to the bard's music, and how different people act when they're alone in a crowd versus people waiting for a friend, you know? It's awesome.

I love hanging out with lots of people, but one-on-one is good too! I think I'm going to go with the group, though.

It is a thing that happens to people who are generally not me.

It means that talking is harder and I need to pay more attention to the person to make sure I'm not being too much.

My parents are the freaking greatest! I'm gonna go with describing Dad, though. Steady hands and quiet piano music and teaching me how to braid Violet's hair and the leather apron Renna made for them and embroidered stars on the blanket they made for her that won't ever be finished because his cataracts got worse and I need to find a way to fix that-

Oh! Not specifically, but there's this jay that keeps hanging around and I think it's figuring out either a) how to speak Common fluently or b) the most efficient way of poisoning a halfling. It keeps offering me Famine Berries! No! Those are delicious but I am not that much of a fool, nor am I uncomfortable with my weight! I don't want to starve to death!

I generally let my party take the lead to avoid this exact scenario.

Oh, I have a pretty good sense of direction, but it's not great or anything! My babiest sister has a much better one.

Prometheus. He gave fire to the cold, and was punished for sharing what the other gods wanted to coddle their superiority complexes with. Because out of all the gods, he asked "why do we have it and they don't?" and got up and shared. And you know what's really cool? He was the god of foresight. He knew what was going to happen to him once he was found out. He knew he would end up chained to a rock being tortured. And he did it anyway.

I don't get why the other gods did that to him, though. He had already given mortals fire! What did they think the eagle was going to do, put it out? Was it a fear tactic to maintain control? All that's going to do is ensure your death will be celebrated just as much as your offerings. Also, he's the freaking god of foresight! He knows what you're going to do! You cannot take him by surprise! Shouldn't him going with you peacefully to his "eTeRnAl FaTe" ring a few freaking bells?

...I guess thinking about it, it's also my least favourite. Huh.

Sunset. It's beautiful, watching the colours fade.
