Ucevi raised a brow stalk in surprise, but silently handed the datapad to the other woman. Zas stared for a moment, frowning, then tapped the screen. “There’s your problem. You’ve got the switches reversed, so there’s not enough room for the thermostatic override. And why are you trying to squeeze in three power cells instead of two?”

“I what?” She took the datapad back, stared for a moment, then groaned. “Shit. I’ve been staring at that thing for two days, and you spotted both of those problems in less than 30 seconds?”

Three OTP Questions: Zastelar and Liomi

I’ll tag @riajade01, @celith-wraine, @cinlat, and @the-sith-in-the-sky-with-diamond and anyone else who’d like to answer!

Well, most of my OTPs have canon meetings, so this is a FAR future pairing involving the Sith Inquisitor I just introduced, Zastelar, and a character not yet introduced. Hopefully, most people will have forgotten this by the time the story reaches this point, lol, though a couple of people know who this is about.

1. How did they first meet?

Even Marr stared silently at the new arrival, though unlike the other Imperials, if he was stunned, his mask hid his reaction.

Except Zastelar.

The Mirialan Dark Councilor cheerily whispered in Ucevi’s ear, “Well! My luck is looking up!”

2. What did they think of each other at first?

Zas was fascinated because Liomi was a mystery that needed an answer. Liomi was completely unnerved that a member of the Dark Council was so overtly, and aggressively, flirting. Neither was at all what the other expected, though in very different ways.

3. Were they immediately interested / attracted or did that come later?

Zas obviously was quite interested, though she didn’t actually expect it to develop into anything more than, possibly, a short fling. The thought didn’t consciously occur to Liomi---she was too distracted by several crises---but she was quite surprised that a Dark Council member would look so young and almost soft, and she was very struck by her violet (not red or gold or orange) eyes. The attraction reared its head a week or two later, but she resisted that attraction, and Zas’s charm, for a long time.

Zas, however, has the patience of anyone who feels sure of the eventual outcome. :D

Day 5: Wardrobe

To be honest, I’m not sure how many outfit slots she has (especially since I’ve actually created her on two servers, lol.) At least 6 sets, I know, which for me is a lot.

In reality, Zas is a clothes horse, and by the time she defeats Thanaton, she has at least 4 sets of top quality combat gear as well as 2 closets in her stronghold (one for Sith-type robes and one for more casual clothing,) plus a bulging wardrobe on her ship (one should be prepared for any occasion, naturally.) This is partly because she uses clothing as social armor in public against specism (and hopefully to keep anyone from recognizing the former slave in the Sith lord.) But by the time she was 6 or 7, she was also made very aware of what she was by the girls she was companion to. She wasn’t allowed the beautiful clothing they wore (but had to take care of that clothing for them) and in fact unless she was in attendance at a public event, was only given heavily worn, cut down uniforms from older slaves to wear. To her, beautiful clothing and freedom are inextricably linked.

Yes, she changed her look over time. On Korriban, she only had the acolyte’s clothing of course, but her first purchase on Dromund Kaas was a set of treated cloth armor in grays and blacks, perfectly tailored to fit her. By the time she landed on Balmorra, she had commissioned a set of tailored black and gray robes to wear over that armor when entering the Citadel or any Imperial facility, to ensure no one ever mistook her for anything other than a Sith. She tried several other styles and colors of robes, but always went back to a black and gray set of robes similar to that first set.

She alternated her hair between a short bowl-type cut with a small ponytail, and the one in this screenshot, before finally settling on the bowl cut as looking more dignified. She has always kept her hair that pale shade of purple, however, though no one knows for certain if she dyes it or the color is natural.
