Request:  Can you write a morning sickness fanfiction with natari?

Note: I had to look up what Natari was since I had never heard of it before, but I love that name for Nate/Zari so much

Nate heard her before he even opened his eyes.  Zari groaned and leaned over the side of their bed, trash between her legs as she heaved into it.  She wished she had been faster to get to the bathroom but the sickness had struck so fast and it was hard to stand up when you were pregnant with twins, who may or may not be made of steel.  Felt like they were sometimes, they were so heavy, and sometimes she got a strange metallic taste in her mouth that wasn’t blood.  But she loved them so much, sometimes more than their father.

“You need me to get Gideon to make that special drink for you?” Nate asked, sitting up and rubbing her back gently.  She shook her head but heaved again.  “I’m going to get it.”  He quickly threw on a shirt and went to the galley, getting the drink Gideon had been making for Zari every day since she hit her second trimester.  He was heading back when he saw her walking slowly down the hall, holding her growing tummy.  

“I thought a walk would help,” she said.  She paced a lot these days, saying it kept the nausea at bay.  He held out the mug for her and she smiled, taking a sip.  “Thank you.”  She took another drink.

“Come on, I know what will help you, let’s go to the library and you can relax on the couch and I’ll read to you,” Nate offered.  Zari smiled and took his hand, him leading her to the library.  She laid down and he propped some pillows under her back to help her sit up a little.  She closed her eyes and let Nate’s voice lull her to sleep as she felt the twins kick inside her.

I made this shortly after this past June when I realized I was a lesbian and also that lesbians were almost completely ignored all pride... So yeah. All of my lesbian characters and I (the one in the middle with red hair) said lesbian rights. Erasing any identity from pride is fucked and if it happens again next year imma come after someone.
