Do you mean why syco didn't do it! Steal My Girl is a catchy song, if it had more promotion and a good one, could be a hit but they aren't giving it promotion but just tweets
Yeah but c'mon, Steal My Girl is not half as good as Fireproof. They described it as a good transition from their classic sound to where they wanna go, but why not start with a bang? They wanted to play it safe and that's alright I guess, but you don't really get the chance to call attention to people outside of the fandom with save songs. Not to mention all the shady shit happening around the writing credits, which even annoyed the fans. It just left a bitter taste imo. Steal My Girl isn't bad by all means, but Fireproof had crazy good potential to rock the charts.
