my thoughts on the comeback- you had me at HELLO, 3rd Mini album: ♡

first of all, this was my first comeback with zerobaseone as a zerose so it is really meaningful for me. it's been YEARS since i was this excited for a comeback🤍

the album exceeded my expectations overall and im really really happy.

happy for 2 reasons: 2 hours before the comeback, my high school result came out and i score 91% which is a big thing for me considering i gave my exams all laid back and without putting in efforts. the result came out very unexpectedly and i had to be at school for interviews and all that nonsense😭

basically i couldn't watch the comeback LIVE. and im SO MAD ABOUT IT. i did watch a snippet of the mv while it was being live streamed.

but i had to wait for about 3 hours to finally be able to listen to feel the pop🥹 as soon as i went with my friends to the restaurant in order to celebrate our good result, i listened to solar power AND I WANTED TO SCREAM DAMN. i needed time to process it so i didn't listen to dear eclipse then and there itself.

once i reached home, i FINALLY got to listen to the entire album and as expected dear eclipse blew my mind- my boys have such a wonderful taste. also it reminded me of wayv bsides?😭 like idk SOMETHING ABOUT IT???

anyways, while trying to listen to sunday ride, i was so irritated because my relatives kept CALLING ME CONTINUOUSLY to ask for my result and plus factor- i forgot my laptop at my mother's place so i had to use an old windows 7 laptop to stream the music video so it kept lagging😭

truthfully, i have still not watched the music video carefully because there's a lot going on and im busy streaming the music video through my laptop and the album on my phone.

after listening to the albums for a lot of time, this is my personal ranking:

1. dear eclipse

2. solar power

3. feel the pop

4. sunday ride

5. hello

im not going to rank sweat for the time being because i need to listen to the rest of the album as many times i have listened to sweat in order to put sweat somewhere in this ranking.

im not at ALL surprised with the vocal game of zb1 because as expected its P E R F E C T.

im just disappointed with the melody of hello slightly?😭 tbh i was expecting for it to be like good night, even from the medley but it was far from it.

i havent gone through the lyrics yet, so this one is simply based off of its melody and tune.

good night is my favorite song by zb1 so maybe my standard was a little tooo high?

on to the next thing- i woke up to 2 things: ricky black hair AND a speculation that my result would be out in a few minutes so basically, i was shivering from fear while going gaga over ricky.

now i know ricky is forced to do it which makes it sad, like obviously ricky looks SO GORGEOUS but knowing that he had to do it because w1 forced him to, BREAKS MY HEART.

and the minnamz treatment in this comeback is so disappointing. i don't know what to do. i feel helpless in moments like these. like WHY WAKEONE?????

also, gyuvin. my baby bambi.

i sincerely hope he gets well fast🤍 he prepared so much with the boys, to show us everything.

gyubaby we love you, and we appreciate you ni matter what so pls take back your apology 🥹 it pained my heart to read that message.

hello's lyrics did calm me down though but i was having good night expectations (really high because good night is my fav zb1 track) BUT OVERALL IM SO HAPPY WITH THE SONGS!!
