it pains you slightly to see how everything is so normal for him, but you know, that's just how he is. you wonder what could be the issues growing up he had to face. maybe they were the reasons he is the way he is.
you guys regularly see each other at parties too and that's how you ended up being seated across from him.
you watched as jiwoong gulped down the liquid in one sip, scrunching his face as the liquid hit his throat. he looked up at you and smiled, a little drunken. it came off as a smirk, and you were slightly taken aback.
he looks around as if to make sure you two are alone, and once assured, he speaks, breaking the silence, even though the music is loud enough to not call it a silence.
“i wonder what you're thinking right now? you stopped talking to me.”
smiling sadly, he sounded disappointed. you scoffed and said in an accusatory tone, “weren't YOU the one who stopped talking to me after you got that new woman, and then a new one, and then again a new one?”
“i was never the one who stopped talking. it was you who distanced me out of nowhere.”
“why couldn't you have just been loyal? we could've become something. you have the audacity to tell me i stopped talking to you when you broke my heart.” you shouted at him, tears emerging in your eyes.
“i told you i find pleasure in change.” he said plainly. the tears that were threatening to spill were freed. you could feel the teardrops on your lap now.
you got up and walked out.
your heart audibly ripping when you look back and realise that he didn't follow you out and is casually pouring himself another drink.
this should've been your cue to finally let go off jiwoong from your heart and mind, but you couldn't as you went back inside the room and kissed him harshly. he was taken aback but returned the kiss, soon the two of you getting entangled.
he took you to a room in his best friend's house, and worst of all, you followed him.
you slept the night with him. his fingers tenderly caressing your skin as if it's the most sensitive thing he's touched.
it's safe to say that even after 2 years, he still has you wrapped around his finger. and you sure are the reason your heart is going to break the next morning.

you and hanbin have dated long enough to be able to comfortably slip into the marriage part of your relationship.
having met for the first time at your friends’ wedding, you danced together with him, half drunken- half sober, letting yourselves immerse into the romantic melody. friends of both, beaming at the two of you. both, being unable to feel the world surrounding you, too lost in each other's longing gazes, touch- too lost in the moment.
you could hear the angels softly screaming in your ears, “this is the man for you y/n, don't let him leave.”
from there on, it went from the two of you spending the nights at his place to you accompanying him on his work related trips.
of course, all of this came with lots of ups and downs, but you guys were always ready to not let pent up frustrations linger in the air for long and sorted things out as soon as possible.
this is how you were able to fall for each other even more over the course of 6 years. the relationship feeling like a promise to the two of you, a willing promise. so you decided to introduce your parents to each other.
watching them get along was the sweetest thing ever. it was as if your children were making friends. it was wholesome.
soon enough, you two and your families were ready to become one big family. the day you guys got engaged, your parents cried, being able to witness their children being happy together with their life partner.
on your wedding day, when you exchanged vows together, both you and hanbin cried. it started feeling real at that very moment, when you locked your lips together and everyone clapped.
the domestic part of your relationship was what enchanted hanbin the most about your marriage.
coming home to his lovely wife, snaking his arms around her waist while she's simultaneously working and making herself coffee.
gosh! he loved everything about this.
both of you were unable to have patience in terms of finishing work, wanting to hold each other for the entire night.
today was just like any other day, hanbin letting his hands roam all over your body while you mindlessly scrolled through your instagram feed.
he whines, “is this how you're going to be!”
you just let out a laugh while slowly tangling your fingers within his messy hair.
“bye. i'll go to sleep. you are so evil y/n.”
he pouted and removed himself from your embrace, moving towards the other side of the bed. be covered himself entirely with the blanket.
you laughed. he looked too cute acting all childish.
“my baby is so cute i'm going to combust!” you cooed and immediately jumped on his blanket covered figure.
he let out dramatic sounds as if he's choking from your weight.
you lightly hit his butt while crazily laughing and telling him to stop being dramatic.
“child get off my back-BAHAHAHAHA” he tried to peek over the blanket but you started tickling him. feeling him kicking his 'blanket-wrapped-feet' made you laugh.
you stopped after you both were out of breath from laughing so hard.
you got off his back and just laid together.
a comfortable silence taking after you both calmed down when he suddenly lifts your shirt up and starts rubbing his hands on your belly.
you close your eyes, feeling relaxed.
after a few moments, he says “i really want to have a mini version of the two of us. i don't think i can be any more in love with you than this. it's you with whom my days start and end.”
you chose to remain silent. your eyes watered slightly at his words.
he continues, “i wake up daily and realise how god has blessed me with such amazing parents, and such an amazing life partner. my will to spend a lifetime with you gets stronger everyday. and now that i'm on this path with you, i can't wait to love you even more daily.”
you move over to hug him. you both just lay in silence for a while until you speak to let him know that you're ready for this as well.
“hanbin, i love you too, more than i would ever be able to express it. i'm happily ready to take this step with you. all these words, they mean a lot to me. just like you, i pray to god daily, letting them know that they've given me the best person ever. thank you for being in love with me, i love you so much.”
god. these words of affirmation! he smiled wide.
you turned on your stomach and pushed yourself off of the bed, standing up and wearing your slippers.
“i'm going to take a shower. we need to sleep.”
“wait what? are we not going to-”
“sleep together, make love. let me complete my sentence hanbin.” you frowned and showed fake disappointment.
his eyes are now bright, as if he's a kid who got candy from his mama.
you excitedly made your way towards the bathroom with him following behind and acting all goofy as he isn't going to do something very different in a few minutes.
