so many of my friends are excited for it and i'm happy for them but it looks so bad. why can't we have nice things? how is black lightning so good when the rest is ...the rest.

yeah, i think the people who are really excited about it are the people i’m most upset for because they deserve so much better. some of them have waited so long for this kind of representation and yet this is what they’re stuck with? it’s just...not fair. i honestly can’t wait for the day cw’s dctv ends because it is a blight on dc comics. (with the exception of black lightning, which is good because it’s a standalone show, led by an actor who can act, and is not part of the larger arrowverse.)

bless u. i can't get into john on lot at all and i hate how the show is pretty much ignored. i'd rather have just had one season than see him crash and burn on the cw :(

I’m watching only the bits with John in them cos i dont care about cw shows one bit. honestly the two full eps I’ve watched have been pretty good and i’ve had very little problems with them when it comes to john (on the other hand i find like 2/3 regular cast annoying as fuck). in the two other bits he’s been in character but that’s imo only thanks to matt tbh. in the finale’s last 30secs with john there were…. things that make me incredibly worried for what next season might be…

it’s a dumb show, funny show and i get it and you can have john around cos he can have his silly moments… but a regular? in such show it’s a minefield for disaster… 

so far i’ve mostly had fun with the show. fandom seems obnoxious as hell tho

zedcanary the thing is women rarely have anything to gain by saying they've been sexually assaulted. which is why i can't imagine someone making that stuff up. i mean he just won a freaking oscar, trump is president so it doesn't effect their careers at all. /GRUMPS

I mean, like most people aren’t even aware of this. It’s insane how many times I’ve explained it to people, and those who are aware usually have no idea who the victims are even though this is all public information. They have gained nothing? & in the lawsuits themselves it mentions how one quit but ended up going back because leaving made it impossible for her to find work. Casey only lost a couple million dollars out of this. Nothing has actually hurt him & it’s bullshiiiiiiit.

They went to get a Horvat jersey in LA for the All Star weekend and there wasn’t any so they were going to get one custom made but the store was “out of ‘R’s“

aww thank you! That actually means a lot considering I feel like a ball of negativity ever since they killed Laurel off in Season 4. Thanks for the nice message, I’mma follow you now :)

bless you and your love for laurel. i'm still so angry over this whole situation. it's a slap in the face to the character, to katie and to the fans. and this whole "dinah drake" thing is the laziest, most contrived writing i've ever seen (and what happened to guggenhack saying dinah was too old fashioned a name?). and they did black siren dirty too. SMH.

Yeah, it sucks. It really sucks. I don’t even know what to say about it anymore. I’m just still so in love with Katie’s performance as Laurel Lance, and the journey she went on to become Black Canary. I think she did a phenomenal job. She did right by this character. She worked hard to earn that status. I don’t like that some random can just swoop in and take the role in an episode. That’s disgusting and disgraceful. She will never be my Black Canary. It’ll always be Dinah Laurel Lance, and that was who Katie Cassidy was playing for 5 seasons now. 

I’m still hopeful there’s more they can do with Black Siren and a redemption arc can happen. Hey, they could even follow the “dinah drake” then “dinah laurel lance.” Who knows. But I’m not watching as long as “dinah drake” is there.
