Being a witch sounds like a dream to most people but for Roni Bartley, it was far from that. She didn't always feel such hatred for what she was but after many years of having great difficulty in maintaining good friendships and not having anyone she felt she could open up to, the hatred started to grow inside of her. Being the only witch in her immediate family, it was no surprise that Roni felt out of place most of the time. After hearing mentions of Spellbound, Roni knew almost instantly that she wanted to go there. She felt that any place would be better than staying at home and if what she'd heard was actual fact, she'd feel more at home there than anywhere.
