Day 3 of drawing my randomized sky kid until I get good at art
An Archive of Our Own, a project of the Organization for Transformative Works
The Light World and the Dark World were once connected. The monsters of the Dark World were free to terrorize the land and consume the souls of innocent people. But, one day, a trio of Heroes used their voices to bring hope and courage to the people, allowing them to finally fight back the darkness.
Surprise gift for @mirensiart based on their piece of the War trio as Huntr/x :) Hope you like it!
Finally got this out of my head and on the page! Please enjoy the first chapter <3
The children of the realms went about their lives in the shadows of the fallen kingdom. The remnants of darkness and the castle of Eden loomed over all, but the children thrived in spite of it. However, a discovery in the Wind Paths results in the formation of an unlikely group that must journey together to finally free them all from the sins of the past.
A Linked Universe AU based on Sky: Children of the Light
Hi. Them.
Found this little drabble in my docs, enjoy some rowanverse au of the lu pokemon au featuring Link (Warriors) looking after Rowan's pokepuff bakery @echoing--stars
----
It wasn’t often that Link was left to mind the bakery alone, but he didn’t mind. Usually it was him that ran out to do the errands or help the neighbors during working hours, but he could tell that Rowan needed a break, badly. It had been nothing but packed the whole week, and for as kind and patient Rowan was with his customers, even he needed time to breathe.
So with an easy wave and a little nudge, Link had convinced him to take his lunch break upstairs. And hopefully, with a little help from Bidoof, get the man to take a short nap while he was at it. Link and Fidough could handle the front just fine on their own. Well… the pokémon in question was content taking her own nap on the counter, but he couldn’t blame her. Link couldn’t help but grin, reaching up to scratch her behind the ear while he leaned against the counter in the brief moment of respite.
The bell at the front jingled, and Link straightened up, facing the customer. “Hello, welcome in,” he greeted with his best cheery tone. “How can I help you today?”
The woman smiled at him, but there was something more to it than the standard acknowledgement. She crossed the store in even steps and propped an elbow up on the counter, leaning closer to Link. “Well, I certainly didn’t expect to be served by the Hero himself today,” she said with a smile, looking him up and down with a certain look in her eyes. Link felt his skin crawl as the weight of her gaze bore down on him, but he did his best to keep his discomfort off of his expression. “I know just how you can help me.”
A growl surprised both Link and the woman, and they turned to see Fidough staring her down. Her paws were planted wide apart, eyes gleaming in warning as she stared down the woman. But it was rather ineffective, and the woman scoffed at her before turning back to Link, waving a hand dismissively in Fidough’s direction. “Get lost.”
Fidough barked at her, darting forward to place herself between the woman and Link, forcing her back from where she tried to lean even closer to Link. Her lips curled in disgust as she glared at the pokémon. “You’re not even his pokémon, get out of here!”
Link tried not to think too much on the fact that she knew he didn’t have a Fidough.
Fidough growled, snorting in warning at her. When she didn’t so much as acknowledge her, Fidough charged forward, shoving herself against the woman’s arms and forcibly pushing her away from Link. Fidough yipped, and a shower of pink energy flew at the woman as she used a weakened Fairy Wind on her. She coughed, waving her hand in front of her face with a rage-filled expression. “You are the rudest thing I’ve ever met,” she hissed at it. “The absolute nerve!” She looked back at Link as if expecting him to agree with her.
Link, however, was going to give Fidough so many treats later. “If you’re not buying anything, I’m afraid I’m going to have to ask you to leave.” He managed to keep his voice level despite the pounding in his chest. “Fidough is in charge when the baker’s not present, and it seems she wants you to leave.”
Fidough snorted in agreement, a poof of Fairy Wind clouding again in clear threat. The woman glared between him and the pokémon before huffing and turning on her heels. The door slammed against the wall as she flung it open and left the shop, bell jangling noisily as it clattered back against the doorframe.
Almost immediately, Fidough turned toward Link, whimpering as she pawed at his arm. Link let out the breath he had been holding, letting his head fall into his hands as he leaned against the counter. Fidough nudged her way forward, licking his cheek with a whine, and he pulled one hand away to place on her back, petting her gently. “Thanks, Fidough.”
Now that the @silentprincesszine is out, I’m super excited to share my piece! I had the honor of writing about the original Zelda and the actions she took to protect her kingdom. Please check out the zine and share the love with all the other amazing creators that worked on it! <3
I'm cleaning up an old wip, and while this scene won't fit in the new version, I really like it. So, here you go <3

“Well, it was an honor to fight alongside you in Kalos,” Diantha said. Ash looked up to her, surprised by her statement. “I mean it,” she said. “You are a talented trainer who has saved the world twice at the minimum. To have been there to help you, and to have fought alongside someone as brave as you, well, I’m grateful for everything you have done to help not just my region, but the world.”
Ash’s eyes widened at her statement and he blushed, averting his gaze. “I’m really not that special,” he muttered. Pikachu gave an indignant squeak at his statement, lightly smacking the back of Ash’s head with his tail.
Diantha gave Ash a sad smile that he didn’t quite catch. “Pikachu seems to disagree with you. And I do too, for that matter.” Her smile brightened. “And you did quite well in the Manalo Conference.”
“You watched?”
“Of course,” Diantha nodded. “Clemont had mentioned you were taking some time off in Alola, so when I heard there was going to be a league there, I figured you’d be involved somehow.” She gave a light laugh. “And I’m glad I did watch. That battle with… Tapu Koko, was it? It was incredible.” She gave Pikachu a light scratch under his chin. “You sure pack quite the punch, don’t you?”
“Chaaa,” Pikachu sighed. Ash could feel the smugness radiating off his partner, and he gave a small huff in amusement. Pikachu sent him a smirk, punctuating it with another squeak, causing Ash to roll his eyes. Luckily, the eye roll meant he could see and prepare for the speeding figure headed straight towards him.
“Ash!”
Ash barely had a second to brace himself before getting tackled by none other than Bonnie. He laughed, lifting her up and spinning once. “Bonnie!” Pikachu, who had leapt off his shoulder, shared a spark with Dedenne, laughing in greeting.
“Bonnie, don’t run off like that,” Clemont called, rounding the corner. He took a second to get his breath back, only to smile when he saw Ash and Diantha.
“Ash, it’s great to see you,” he smiled. “And Diantha, I didn’t expect to see you here.”
“I hope you don’t mind me tagging along for a bit,” she said. “I just heard Bonnie got her Trainer’s License and wanted to congratulate her.”
“Yeah, how does it feel to be a trainer now?” Ash asked, looking down at the girl still latched onto his arm.
Bonnie beamed. “It’s so great! Clemont transferred Dedenne’s Pokéball for me, so now Dedenne’s officially my partner!” Dedenne cheered in agreement, jumping back up onto her head.
Diantha laughed lightly. “You two remind me of another pair of trainer and Electric Type,” she said, glancing at Ash, who held out his arm for Pikachu to climb back up to his shoulder.
“Bonnie talks about Ash all the time,” Clemont said, turning to Ash. “I’ll be honest, it’s been pretty boring compared to when we travelled with you.” Ash chuckled, rubbing the back of his head.
“But it sounds like you’ve been having so much fun!” Bonnie said. “Clemont said that the Pokémon you fought at the league was a Legendary Pokémon. And you won! And that rainbow thunderbolt was so pretty!”
Ash smiled. It seemed like every time someone brought up his final match, the adrenaline and sheer joy of that battle resurfaced until he felt like he was still standing in the Trainer Box, Pikachu and him toppling the Legendary as one.
“You can tell us all about it while we walk,” Clemont said. “That cafe is back over this way.” He pointed down the opposite corner they had come from. “And Diantha, you’re welcome to join us.”
Diantha nodded. “I’d love to catch up with you both. Ash and I were just talking about how I hadn’t gotten much chance to check up on you two since the league season started.”
Bonnie smiled, tugging on Ash’s arm. “Okay then, let’s go!”

It’s finally time!
I’ve been working with the @2023legendoflinkzine for the past year as a writer! This is the piece I wrote for the Link that started it all, exploring what it means to be a hero and have courage! This piece is accompanied by two lovely pieces of art, one by @zolanort and another by @yasmeensh
The creators that took part in this zine were absolutely wonderful to work with, and I am proud of our finished product! I hope you all enjoy!
