I must tell you one of the most ridiculous interactions of my life (happened last night)
My friends and I are planning a trip to Vegas, and we got together last night to finish planning. There are five of us going and we were going to share a 2 bed room, which meant two to a bed and one on the floor.
And we're like "yeah that will totally work, $25 a person yeah" and one of them turns to me and blurts out "Yeah I'll share a bed with you!"
Now, the thought process was "one of us has to sleep on the floor and it's not gonna be Z." (because I'm the baby of the group by like 3 years) Which is sweet, but also caught me so off guard when the only part of that process I got was "I'll share a bed with you."
And then he kept talking and was like "Or {insert other guy going} can share with you. Or we can switch off." which, again, sweet when you know that means I'm not sleeping on the floor but I was still caught off guard from the first unprompted declaration.
Anyway, we're gonna get two rooms instead of one and I'm getting my own bed and the two guys are gonna share a bed and the couple is getting their own room because we don't wanna hear all that.
I feel like some important context here is: we are all coworkers as well, which means we're gonna be much closer or much more awkward at work after this. And also, this man has a girlfriend who was in the room with us during this whole interaction and she was like "yeah I'll just see how this plays out"
