most of the family on this yacht were insufferable to say the least, reminded zehra a lot of her own family. she tried to distance herself from them as far as possible to make a name for herself without their help, but it seemed they always snaked their way back into her life one way or another. regardless of her personal feelings about the yacht owners, she had a job to do and her #1 goal this summer was to impress them with her cooking. they had hired her for top dollar and she wasn't in the mood to disappoint. it was a friday afternoon, and she was prepping for dinner that evening -- herb-crusted sirloin steak with truffle mashed potatoes and a red wine reduction. she was thinking she had almost perfected the potatoes but felt as if she were missing something, so who better to ask than her acquaintance whom she had met earlier that week? seeing him approach the kitchen, she quickly motioned him towards her. "here, try this.." she held out a spoon with a dollop of potatoes on it, handing the spoon to him. "do you feel like it's missing something?... does it need gravy, maybe?" / @gccdwitch
