Ok I need to know about the shitty mall au (sorry but I'm here for generally silly aus)
Riku is the part-time manager of Hot Topic and Sora is the part-time manager of the Disney Store across from it. Naturally, since both stores sell Disney merch, there’s a huge rivalry.
Riku and Sora have a mutual crush on each other but legally can’t hook up because they’re on opposite sides of a longstanding war.
- Aqua: Manager. Only upkeeps the rivalry because her brother Terra is the manager of Hot Topic and it makes work more fun. No one can tell when she’s being serious or not.
- Kairi: Wing-Woman. Teases Sora constantly about his crush on Riku.
- Xion: Kairi’s older sister who got her the job and thinks the rivalry is dumb.
- Terra: Manager. Takes the rivalry Very Seriously. Too Seriously.
- Roxas: Very fucking tired and gets on Riku’s ass constantly about having a crush on his brother.
- Axel: Thinks this whole thing is hilarious.
- Ventus and Vanitas: Work the Cinnabon stand. Vanitas is only there because he didn’t get the Hot Topic job and he’s Very Bitter over it.
- Namine: Works at Lush. Sits between the Hot Topic and Disney Store during her break with her sketchbook and watches the chaos unfold.
Riku has two brothers: Riyu and Roku. (Repliku and Data!Riku respectively) They’re triplets. Their parents were assholes. No one knows about this. Riku makes them take his shift occasionally. The only one who suspects anything is wrong is Roxas, but no one believes him.
