Seed Dispersal Post Instructions
Each group needs to find one species that uses the mode of dispersal assigned to them: gravity, wind, water, or animal.
Identify your species (don’t forget the scientific name!), explain how it uses that mode of dispersal, provide a approximate dispersal distance, describe what the seed looks like (or provide a picture/video), and tell us one additional interesting fact about your species.
Include your group name.
Review all of the species that your classmates posted and make sure you know each species and their modes of dispersal.
Use the comments section to give your classmates some positive feedback or ask questions if you have any.
NOTE: I have left comments and questions for each group, so please make sure to answer these for your own group!
Species of the Day
Question: Do we need to know each Species of the Day?
Answer: Yes, please make sure to focus on understanding how each Species of the Day exemplifies the concepts that we discussed in class that day.

Final Exam FAQ
Student: Do we need to practice any calculations for the test?
Prof Z: As usual, there will be no calculations on the exam. However, practicing some calculations can help you understand the concepts that are being tested. For example, one thing we talked about was the F value and why significant differences between categories leads to F values larger than 1. So understanding that can help you recognize how to interpret your results from an ANOVA.
