My piece for the AnS Gift Exchange for @jugacolours, featuring ZenYuki under the mistletoe!

This was a fun project to work on in terms of pose and expressions! I think it's been quite literally years since I drew either Zen or Shirayuki...so this was nice practice!

I love how AnS episode 4 is basically a murder mystery/prevention with plants. Shirayuki and Zen locked in a greenhouse, and they need to figure out what is killing the plants before it's too late! Complete with tense music and Detective Shirayuki 🕵️‍♀️

*Wailing Noir saxophone music plays*

Shirayuki's internal narration: "The water was sweet...ironic, really, given how the situation was about as sour as pickled roka fruit. In truth, these sweet toxins, sweet as the summer smile on Zen's angelic face, shining with the innocence of not understanding the true nature of the situation...well. These toxins were not as sweet...as they seemed. And it left a bitter taste in my mouth."
