A brief overview of my reworked Zen / a semi-rework of his route.
Him being a B-list actor / not getting many jobs stays the same, he's still ambitious--but burnt out and somewhat has disdain due to this. It's soured him, and while not much slips past his boy-charmer mask, sometimes it gets to be too much and he has to have a meltdown.
It's now unabashed that having fans, fanletters, etc. feeds into his ego and he loves it. He does hold care and love for his fans, but he is somewhat misguided, as he mostly loves the feeling they provide him as opposed to loving them for their support, though one could argue they feed into the same vine.
The whole "wolf" thing is tossed out, at least sexually. Let's be so honest, Zen borders the line of harassment sometimes, and while it can be used in a joking matter ... he doesn't know MC, and that kind of relationship hasn't been established. He does compare himself to a wolf (loyal) and a dog (begging for any scrap of love), but "The Beast" isn't brought up, unless you're meaning that as his ego. Not his. Y'know
Much like the Saja Boys, he feeds into the stereotypes that the idol scene has, and sees no shame in it--as they provide him fans, adoration, etc.
10000% envies other idols / actors. Severely. He gets close to them to further his own image, for people to speak of him breathing the same air as them, but otherwise dislikes most if not all of them. Whoops.
He still heals fast and is still a workaholic, but it's less his body 'actually' being a beast and more so him pushing it and ignoring any following pain.
Zen's route would entail these traits, and how the MC would not fix him, but try to guide him on a healthier mental path. He holds less contempt, but admits it's a work-in-progress, and that he still thinks he deserves better for the work he puts out. Like canonically, he learns that a lot of this spawns from his innermost self-hate and the standards his family put him up to, but it's not worked out quickly, and his After-End still depicts him struggling.
It's not as hard when MC is at his side, though.
