I think of elevated ICP as a sign of something else. There is a differential for raised ICP so it shouldn’t be the final diagnosis.

so basically all I need is dif. diagnosis for ICP. 

because the book we have for this final basically says that

Intracranial pressure syndrome is a bunch of symptoms like dull pain, morning nauzea with vomiting, pain that gets worse when you stand and it´s typical for chronic head pain.

The whole "chronic pain" got me confused. However I think what they wanna hear is the ICP idiopatic syndrome (benign ICP) and if I say some dif.dg. for other ICP causes I think that should be fine.

It´s just that the prof is kind of a .....difficult to deal with sometimes :D

when we had our final for Introduction to pediatrics, she almost throw me out because I didn´t know the precise composition for different types of artificial milks. Fuuuuuun

Before I wanted to be a doctor, I wanted to be a comic book artist.

My favorite food in the world is dumplings. Apparently, my mom had serious dumpling cravings when I was in the womb and out of the womb, it never changed.

For a girl who's never had a legit boyfriend, I have a lot of hilarious bad love stories. 

I own a switchblade.

I played piano for 12 years. 

The number of music, television, movie, book, comic book, and internet meme references I make daily: Abed-level. Which was also a television reference. 

I have subscribed to GQ magazine for 7 years. I really like suits. A lot.

I frequently encounter folks with medical emergencies. In front of the grocery store, on my days off, on the airplane. All. The. Time. 

I have an extensive collection of scarves. Love wearing scarves. 

In college, my friends and I participated in a RockBand video game competition. We got the highest score on the West Coast!

I am terrible at baking. The wok is my best friend.

1. Your earliest memory.

Being left alone in my crib with a blue, orange, and brown towel on me. I don't know why, but I remember that.

2. Moment when you felt most like a grown-up, or like a grown-up for the first time?

When my parents were out of the country, my sister wasn't talking to me, and I had no friends during senior year 2nd semester of college. Oh, and my first love lost his virginity to my bipolar dorm-mate. So I had to dig really, really deep. I got my shit together: made better friends, patched things up with my sister, and started studying hard for the MCATs. 

3. Character in a book (NOT a movie) who you secretly want to marry.

Comic book character: Bigby Wolf from Fables. Actual book: Howl Jenkins from Howl's Moving Castle. 

4. Number one thing on your bucket list.

Live so hard I won't regret dying

5. When you were 5, what did you want to be when you grew up?

 Kimberly, the Pink Power Ranger. I had big dreams.

6. Where is your best scar and what is the story behind it?

My best scar is on the back of my head. I was trying to get into a car, which suddenly reversed and knocked me to the ground. I hit the ground and my head was bleeding. Why is this the best story ever? Because my friend bought me THE GREATEST chicken and waffles EVER and we ate them at the ER. And I was a minor celebrity during our neuroscience system when people checked out my scar during our lab about head trauma. 

7. Favorite book when you were a kid.

8. If you could wake up one morning and automatically be able to speak a foreign language, what language would you pick?

Spanish. Then I'd stop getting grief from classmates and profs for not speaking it! 

9. If you had to eat the same meal three times a day for the rest of your life, what would it be?

Dumplings. Or, stir-fried Chinese eggs and tomatoes. 

10. How long have you been on Tumblr, and why did you join?

I joined Tumblr a few months ago because I've always greatly admired Anthony Bourdain's Kitchen Confidential and I wanted to do something similar, but about medical school and the medical profession. Also, I could keep fairly anonymous on Tumblr. 

11. Would you ever go to a Tumblr meet-up? What Tumblr person would you most like to meet up with?

Depends how far I'd have to travel! I'd love to meet wayfaringmd or medicalstate! Cranquis would probably prank me, re: April Fool's! :)

Do you have any verbal ticks or catch phrases that is classically you. Apparently I say "absolutely not" a lot.

My catch phrases include:

Danger! - It works for all sorts of situations, from hitting a curb when you park, to bad dating advice, to actual dangerous situations. 

Shut it down. Definitely picked that one up from Liz Lemon, and now some of my friends have picked it up from me. 

I reckon. - I’m Southern. I can’t help it. But even Southerners make fun of me for saying I reckon.

I can tell you that the small class is definitely helpful. Our northern program which also centres on rural care is a class of 32, as are all distributed sites. The difference from the 150+ class in Vancouver is palpable.

Anything that isn’t Tumblr that I frequent I use feedly. Aggregates things for me into one neat package. I literally keep in touch with 50 sources with it.
