OC Background!
My favorite OC that I ever made is really hard to chose. I think for RP, I like my neutral evil Necromancy specialized wizard! A bit on the short side, up there in age, and at first is really nice. Originally I was going to have her get a single level in cleric as a cleric of Urgathoa, but then I saw the new vigilante class and changed it to that with the cabalist archetype. Her familiar is a viper. Any who, her background is as follows:

Zennida Xerivo was always the studious and bright child of the Xerivo family. Her folks had a stately home in Andora and many were aspiring clerics and paladins. If they weren’t, they were still church-goers and worshiped good-aligned deities. Zennida was about to follow in those footsteps, but was uneasy. Something didn’t set right with her and she couldn’t figure it out. Her little sister, Nela, tried to help her out, but she similarly had this feeling, and neither girl could shake it. This changed when Zennida found an old tome hidden in her family home. In it marked a dark time in the family history, even where the original family home was. Ustalav. Many of the Xerivo family back then had revered the Whispering Tyrant and some even sought to emulate him. Reading more about this, Zennida knew exactly what she wanted to do. But first, there was something she had to do.
Once everyone was asleep in the house, fifteen-year-old Zennida took up a kitchen knife and sneaked into every bedroom there was. Taking great pains, and after performing a few rituals and spells she had learned, Zennida systematically slew everyone in the household save for her sister. For when Zennida was about to slay her mother and father, saving them for last, Nela approached Zennida and asked if she could deal the killing blow instead. Zennida had then learned that Nela was spying on her and wanted to aspire to be as “great and true” as her sister to the family name. Zennida handed the knife to her.
Zennida and her younger sister had fled together from home, giggling gleefully after slaying everyone in the household. Both decided that no one save for themselves should know of what they did. They ended up making personas for themselves in case they ever got caught. Once they agreed on a theme, Zennida and Nela had become known as the Grave Sisters: Zennida as Graveshroud and Nela as Gravedust. Once both of them had completed their training, the sisters parted ways to grow stronger, and to not get in each others paths. Zennida was a full-fleged wizard, finally, and had her viper familiar at all times. Nela had become an anti-paladin, and wore a terrifying skull mask that her sister made so that she would always remember her wizard sister and honor her, even if no one knew the story behind the terror.
Zennida then took to entering a few towns, setting up shop as a taxidermist, putting minor curses inside the taxidermed items with simple spellcraft, and occasionally rearing her head as Graveshroud. She was good at what she did. One day, she encountered someone actually looking for her persona to hire them, rather than fight them. Intruded, Zennida took the note and the badge that came with it.
The deputy of this new town had made a spot open for Zennida to set up show, somehow knowing of her social persona. Curious, yet un-threatened, she allowed this and set to seeing what needed to be done. Turns out, the lead investigator has the town under wraps. Not even the mayor had full power here. After a few killings, a kidnapping (and subsequent illegal adoption), and a few side things to do with her new group she was teamed up with, the evil party had taken control with the deputy and set them up as the new sheriff of the city. With a new ally, Zennida could finally get some research on what needed to be done next: Lichdom.

Sorry about it being so long! If this doesn’t automatically shorten, I’m so sorry! I don’t know how to get it to do that! If it already does that on it’s own, then that was all for nothing! The main reason for this is my printer is buried in storage and all I have is MS paint. I could still use that with my boyfriend’s drawing tablet, but I’m not comfortable with the lack of layers.
