Oh I'll definitely be doing this again. These gals are a bit quirky for me. I really like the more soulful one that Sara and the others painted. But try as I might..painting over and bringing back elements it was still quirky. Then I embraced it...because I saw the cat eyed glasses and it reminded me of being a little girl in the 60's. Our family made many trips to Zern's in Gilbertsville Pa. What wonderful memories I had as a child there and the 3 woman selling lemonade. They wore cat eye glasses with rhinestones and had beehive hairdos, oh the bold lipstick. (Yes there is a smudge on one of the lips...I like it...so I left it)I think the house on the eye reminds me of the home where we lived. Our family moved from that area when I was 9 years old.
