"N-No, don’t worry. I wasn’t asleep." Yet. “Do you want to sit down…?” It was Quinn’s break from working on the stall, looking at the strangers bags, she knew she’d been to hers, which was currently being manned by an imp. “Hey, I work at the fruit stall!” She spoke excitedly, “I hope you enjoy them.”
"Oh thank you, don't mind if I do." Planting herself down beside the other person, Haruka let her bags drop onto the floor gently. Some of the items were fruit after all, and it wouldn't do anyone any good if they were bruised. She relaxed herself somewhat once she sat down, and smiled charmingly to the girl beside her. "You do? Well, I should definitely hope to enjoy them now that I know a delightful young lady works there. I was starting to wonder if everything here was manned by something other than human."
Great. First the witch had accidentally killed her prey earlier instead of catching it; and now she apparently had to deal with a human. A new one at that from the looks of it. Sighing, Thage turned to face this person.
"I’m afraid so. Ugly, aren’t they?"
"I'm sure they have their own startling degrees of attractiveness..." she said before noting that the person before her wasn't even in the mood for her tries at hilarity. Instead, Haruka stood up straight, gave a winning smile, and tried to speak as charmingly as she could.
"I'm new here and it would be wonderful if I could be shown around or at least told a few good spots without so many..." she looked about, noting that there were more than just demons and humans wandering about, most of it which were no more pleasing to look at than the last, "so many...er...distractions?"

Quinn sat back on the stray bench she had found near the market stalls, her position slack and without care. Just before she rested her head back and closed her eyes, footsteps disturbed her. A stranger stood before her, their look alone caused a small blush to spread across her cheeks.
"I'm sorry, it wasn't my intention to wake you."
Haruka had been browsing through the market stalls, picking up a few things here and there in order to make sure she and possibly her roommate would be satisfied with eating for the next couple of days. She did see the a bench or two in the area, and thought to sit down with her bags but when she approached, someone was already there.
The first thing she saw once she left her room was a dragon whizzing by and telling her to watch where she was going. At least it had the decency to not leave any scaly residue on her person. Trying to calmly get a handle on the situation, Haruka poked the person--or she hoped it was a person at least--beside her and point at the parade of other beats around them.
"Is this for real?"
