Wow. 542 pages of main story and I finally reached the Antivan Poetry scene in my ZevYas story. I call that persevering x’D (My whole Dragon Age document has over 800 pages by the way. That includes more shortstories, NSFW chapters, random concepts and more. And yes. I like to write a lot. Especially about those two ♥ They’re what keeps me happy.)

My, it’s the last day of 2017, huh? I can hardly believe it, time flies. I don’t know how many of you are interested in seeing this, but I made a summary of this year’s art. Even though 2017 wasn’t entirely great when it comes to my personal life, I guess art-wise I can’t really complain, I did get to draw&paint a lot every month. The only thing I am not that happy about is that I still neglected my own characters *coughs* Despite the fact that I had planned to dedicate more time to original illustrations...But then again, drawing ZevYas and Dragon Age in general was too much fun *laughs*

Anyway! I hope you’ll all have a great start into 2018 - and I want to thank everyone who follows my art, here, as well as on Facebook. Your support means a lot to me ♥

My, it’s been a while since I last was active here, please forgive me O//O And welcome to all the new followers, I’m very grateful you like my art ♥ Now..Let me present you one of my latest aceos. It was my 250th one so I wanted to celebrate this special occasion with a scene that's very dear to me: the very moment when Zevran proposed to Yasao, a few months after the Blight ended >///<  She absolutely didn't see this coming, after all, a lot like him, she thought marriage wasn't that important and she used to tell her foster-mother Ashalle she wasn't the “marrying-kind”.

Well, guess she was mistaken – and her mother was right all along, she simply didn't find the right guy before *giggles* ^///^ But now she did ♥

Do some of you remember the sketch I posted in March?  It took me ages to color this (I blame the hair!*laughs*) And that even though this is only ONE panel of a whole page. That goes to show why I should never draw comics, I treat every panel like a real painting *giggles* Buuuut I am sooo glad I FINALLY finished this one *///* It's one of my most favorite ZevYas scenes, simply because...Well. It's kind of romantic, isn't it? ♥

If you're wondering why it's a little quiet here atm, it's because I'm mostly working on items from my to-do-list during the day (mostly aceos that have to be kept secret still) and during the night I'm drawing panels for a private comic project about Zevran and Yasao – a kiiiinda NSFW one X//D

I'm trying to get out of my comfort zone by challenging myself to draw things I never dared before, such as complicated angles, as well as...*coughs* Certain details. My, it makes me blush so much, I can tell you that X//D; What you see here is the sketch of one of the panels >//u//<

WIP - I forgot to show you my progress of this drawing of Zevran and my Warden Yasao ♥ The two of them are finished, now all that’s needed is the easy part: the background x3 

And for those who are interested, I added step-by-step photos of how I built up the colors of Yasi’s hair - because do you see the pile of pencils there? I needed them ALL for it *giggles*

Oh my... It's sure been a while ever since I last posted something here, isn't it? But today I have something very special to show you... It's my 200th aceo, entitled “Sweet Nothings” ♥ I knew I wanted to draw Zevran and Yasao to celebrate this special occasion (after all they were also on my 100th aceo) and for the first time in what feels like forever, I used only black&white ink and pencils for shading. It's also the first time I really got to draw the complete designs I made for the two of them, after all they can't always wear their armors and needs some casual clothes too, don't you think? ^//^ It's much more comfortable to cuddle like this too *giggles* And Zevran takes advantage of the fact that they sneaked away from their group to whisper some naughty poems to Yasao ♥ I really hope many of you will see this and that you'll like it, because as I said, this drawing is very important to me.

A WIP of a small ZevYas drawing I’m working on~♥ As you can see, I really love cross-hatching - it’s so fascinating to see how a few lines can create the illusion of texture & the differences between light and shadow. I’m only just getting started with this one, though >//u//<

Oh, and their clothes? Those are somet things I designed for the both of them, I figured in camp they might want to wear something more comfy rather than their armor. But you can’t imagine how picky Zev was when it came to designing his boots - I suppose he wouldn’t settle for anything less than original, Antivan leather *laughs*
