Can we ask questions to people like Jay's parents??
Mun: Yep! Anyone named in the story on ao3 can be asked things, even if the character is obscure in the story. I think I said so over there but I'll say it here! ^-^

Jays parents, Zimniy and Krish, having a bit of an argument. Just wanted to doodle them for fun! ALSO OOP SIZES.
If anyone had ever told Sam a few years back that he would one day be dragging an ex-brainwashed assassin to the supermarket for grocery shopping, he would have gave them a massive side-eye before checking to see if they had a fever.
And yet, here he was, standing in front of a supermarket with one James Barnes.
"So what's the plan?" Sam asked the man next to him, his tone light and a smile playing along his lips. "What do you want to try your hand at?"
To make things even more surreal, they were here so they could pick up supplies for Sam to teach James how to cook.

usually, sophie gave her wrist a few glances through-out the day, but not today. today was too rainy for her to pay any attention to anything except for the chill of the water running down her skin, soaked into the clothes she wore.
she’d finally sought refuge in a little coffee shop and didn’t notice her wrist stop counting down when she sat across from a handsome stranger who even offered her his jacket. it was when she was slipping her arms through the sleeves of his coat that she saw the little black number stop counting.
she stared at it in awe for a moment, then glanced back up at him before returning her gaze to her wrist.
❝ ——it stopped. ❞
she exposed her clock to him and couldn’t help a nervous, breathless little smile. her heart had swollen and she felt as if she could run a marathon or jump out of a plane and survive. she felt unbeatable.
❝ it’s you. ❞

In a universe where everyone is born with numbers on their wrists counting down to when they’ll meet their soulmate, send me 00:00:00 for my muses reaction to their numbers hitting zero when they meet yours.
it hadn’t stopped when they first met—as kids in school. it wasn’t the right time. yes, it was the right person, but the true concept of a soulmate hadn’t fully developed.
no, the clock was a clever thing, and it ticked away, slowly bearing down until it was midnight on a night it was too cold to go stargazing in the astronomy tower, and yet there they were. usually, sophie would give it a glance or two, but she was distracted.
their little meeting went on until they hovered near each other’s lips and finally, finally those lips pressed together. he pulled her onto his lap and they had to break apart for air. something possessed sophie to bring her wrist into view. he saw it and his was at the same little blinking numbers

❝ oh, i should have known. ❞
and they were kissing again, not quite just to forget about the cold, either.
