"Tuk! Move now! She's fucking dangerous!"Jake hissed at his stubborn youngest who hissed back in defiance. Z looked past Tuk at Spider, who was watching,looking at her eye,worried . Z looked him up and down,kids soaking wet,hairs a mess again, paint washed mostly off and a long bleeding cut on his chest. She growled again and made a "Come here" gesture to Spider. Spider ignored the reactions Jake and Neytiri gave and ducked past them and ran over to her. She looked at the cut and swore under her breath. "FINE!"Jake said,Tuk refused to back down against her parents. "We talk to Ronal and Tonowari about this!" Tuk grinned and puffed her little chest out in triumph,Z chuckled her proud little stand. Kiri walked over to Z. If Z was safe enough for Spider, she was safe enough for her. Kiri offered to help Z up and help get her to the Metkayina village with them. Z took little Augustine's hand,only one that'd help her anyhow. Honestly, it was funny how little the kid seemed to look like, whoever her dad was,perfect replica of Grace really.
Once they got to the Metkayina village, Tonowari and Ronal met them. Jake made Lo'ak,Neteyam,and Kiri leave,or tried to. Kiri and Lo'ak just sat outside the marui because of Spider and Tuk. Neteyam sat with Ao'nung,who was fixing his shoulder. Surprisingly,Ao'nung was a decent healer.
"The demon -" Tonowari started after Jake explained, "My name is Zindarsk." Z snapped a little. the next time they referred to her as "Demon," she was going to show them how humans threw hands. "Zindarsk," Tonowari corrected himself. "Saved Tuk,and Tuk wants her to stay?"Sully nodded,clear in his and his wife's eyes they either wanted her dead or forced to leave.
Tonowari looked at Ronal,who surprisingly hadn't said a word at all so far,and she looked back at him. Necessarily,they saw no concern with Zindarsk staying,but of she was as dangerous as the Sullies said she was,then......Ronal wasn't sure,she didn't pose a threat NOW obviously,but if she was as dangerous.....But they also didn't want her finding the Ash people after they made her leave. Z-dog's eyebrows shot up, and Jake and Neytiri looked pissed off badly. Z saw Neytiri glaring at her, so she smirked just to make it worse. After the discussion and announcement,Spider ran over to Z so he could properly hug her since no one was around now. Z sat in her,*Marui*, and was messing with what little shit she managed to save. Spider ran in and threw his arms around her. Z caught Spider and hugged him back. "Thank God, you're alright,Spider,"Z said,using his preferred nickname of the one their squad gave him. After they finally let go,Z fixed up Spiders cut, and he managed to make an eyepatch out of bandages for her. "Hey,kid. The whole thing that went down with Sully and his bitch?" Z asked after a minute, Spider knew what she was asking,and responded "He's not dead. .....we thought Jake was drowning, so we tried to find him....I found..Quaritch so...i-.."Spider didn't know why he couldn't admit it to Z,she wouldn't have a problem with it. Z smiled. She knew the kid cared and was happy with the whole bit for a while. Too bad they had to get here before their plan could be acted out. They'd all agreed to get enough masks and exopacks for Spider and then say they would live in the woods for a bit to track Sully. They'd get about a month's supply for food and shit,but they weren't coming back. They. ......planned to desert......God it sounded so wrong to say They'd do something they swore against. But still. Spider was their light. They were still his family in their minds, and if deserting kept him safe......even the Colonel would risk it. Didn't matter now, though, only she herself and the Colonel were alive. Walker,Zhang,Warren,Fike, and Brown were killed back in the forest, and Lyle,Mansk, Lopez,Ja, and Prager died just the day before. "It's alright, kid. I know . Let's get some sleep." Z told spider laying down on her sleep mat and covering herself up. Spider gave in to himself and curled up beside her, and she carefully put her arm over him, and her tail involuntarily draped over him. Spider thinking about how nice it was, one of the only adults he'd ever met that cared about him was here with him and Z thinking to her best friends spirit, promising Paz she wouldn't fail at protecting her son,they fell asleep.
