Impromptu zine announcement—if you’ve been following my instagram story the past day, I went from “LET’S DRAW DOGS TO FUNDRAISE FOR FLINT” to “oh that’s a few more people than expected” to “let’s make a digital dog zine!”

Email [email protected] with a 9x12″ art file (PDF, jpeg, png, or psd all work), as well as your name for credit and up to 3 social medias/links for credit. Please mention ‘Dogs for Flint’ in your subject line. Art files that aren’t in the correct vertical ratio will be resized/cropped to fit.
While it's encouraged to make new art for this zine, previously completed work is totally fine.
The zine will be hosted on gumroad for two months (as a pdf). At one-month intervals I will be posting receipts!
As a participant, you will receive a complementary copy of the PDF, and donation updates.

Anyone interested in applying should visit our application page for application requirements and tips. As well as artists and writers, we are also accepting cosplayers and crafters. The crafters category is for creators of any non-digital fandom media which can be photographed, such as plushie creators, sculptors, or prop artists. Depending on the strength of your application, we could be convinced to accept even more unusual fanworks (example: flower arrangements, papercraft). If you have a special idea in mind, we’re interested in hearing about it!

Beyond the Veil, a Solas charity artbook
Hello and welcome to BTV. We’re excited to announce the applications for a 24-36 artist 6x9″ fanzine celebrating our favorite and most despised egg, Solas. This artbook will be organized by @nim-lock, @mono-owl, and @pentakillies.
The Theme “Beyond the Veil”, a deep dive into Solas’s character. Feel free to consider the events in ancient Arlathan that influenced the formation of the Veil, the many faces that Solas has had to put on, and/or your thoughts on #TheDreadWolfRises. There will be no overt ships in this zine. There will be no inquisitors, but their absence can be felt (for example, Solas in a space clearly meant for two). Side characters are allowed. We’re also looking for people interested in drawing concept art Solas along with game canon Solas!
In the spirit of the world-shattering effects of the Veil, we will be donating our proceeds to a charity against climate change (to be announced)! All participants will receive a physical copy of the zine & merchandise.
The Content We’re looking for 24-36 illustrators to fill 56 pages, one charm, two postcards, and a sticker sheet. The cover will be handled by J.
