New Apartment New Setup
I moved into a new apartment today. As such I have much more space to utilize for my Shinto and Buddhist practices.
For example before a lot of my items were crammed together on the desk shelf, but now I have much more wall space, so I've been able to hang more items up :)
I also have much more shelf space, so now I can dedicate whole shelves to my Shinto books and to my Goshuin. And because I have more wall space I can finally get some of my Goshuin from Japan mounted and displayed like I had originally meant to.
I also have more space for my Buddhist practice, and have a shelf below dedicated to holding items for worship like candles, matches and more incense.
The calligraphy above the image of the 1,000 Handed Kannon was done by our sangha's founder :)
Also to celebrate my first night in the apartment I went out for udon (duck udon Yum!) and got Non Alcoholic Umeshu in honor of Tenjin-sama!
