WIP Tag Game

Thank you @clydesducktape for the tag!! My current WIPs are all Kinktober related, so those Ill keep to myself. BUT this is whats getting posted right after its all done!!

Hc that Ranboo climbs trees.

I have no reason for this hc expect for the fact that I love to imagine Ranboo just lounging in a tree relaxing as Phil and Techno internally panic on how he got up there and how they'll get him down.

Also because of another hc that he loves to look at stars. So he just sits in a tree at night watching the stars.

While other times him being so far up reminds him of something, a comforting feeling of a time long ago. But he sadly doesnt remember where this comforting feeling came from.

Current Favorite Song: Iris by the Goo Goo Dolls is a longtime favorite. Been listening to a lot of Icon for Hire lately though? And I usually like stuff by Muse.

Favourite idea to get creative with: I favor the underdog type story? Though I'm pretty awful and the underdog doesn't always survive or win. Someone out of their element, or maybe the reluctant hero character? Fantasy/fiction elements for sure, faeries or vampires or elves, or talking animals. I get really invested in the lore and then I find myself researching which plants reproduce how, or home repairs, or obscure ailments, or something else weird at 4am. Why am I still up.

What do I like to do when I’m alone: Writing, art, video games. Listen to music. Pace. Avoid actually doing housework until the last possible second before people arrive. Alone time is great.

What do I think of my friends: I love my friends, and they're all very different so it's hard to drop a blanket 'thought' over all of them at once. I usually end up befriending people who share at least a couple common interests with me, I like to be able to talk and/or nerd out about stuff with them. I usually value their creativity and kindness overall.

Average hours spent sleeping: I'm a wreck. Probably 3-6 hours? I don't recommend this, I just don't sleep well.

Cats or dogs: Cats. I'm so allergic to them though.

Number of blankets I sleep with: Um. 1-6? I like to feel like I'm buried, but in the summer I get too warm. Plus people give me blanket presents so obviously I gotta use them. All of them. At once.

Dream job: Storytelling, in comics or novels or video games. I have worked on all of these, and even had a couple novellas published, but I am far from being able to support myself with it.

Dream trip: Hm. Maybe a huge world-tour of actually visiting all my friends?

what’s up y’all

i know ive been gone a long time. a long loooooong time. i had to figure some shit out, but i did and now? i think im ready to come back. i have some stuff in the works, but i think my journey back into blogging is going to be slow and steady.

as with any abandoned, dusty dwelling, some housekeeping is in order.

first - i want to reiterate that this space is an adults only space. if you are a minor you will be blocked. absolutely no hard feelings, but we have to all stay safe and responsible online!

second - this blog is NOT a safe space for racism, homophobia, transphobia, or general bigotry. i will not tolerate it in my space and will not allow it to continue when i see it.

third - i am so so sorry if you have tagged me in anything, if we have fallen out of touch, and just generally for falling off of the face of the earth. im super excited to catch up, on your lives and your works that you’ve put out!

May I ask about Namestealer?? The name alone has me hooked!

Yeah, I’m actually super excited about that one!

That one will be a small character study focusing on the relationship of Snoke and Kylo Ren, and will ultimately explore the ideas of personal autonomy, independence (or lack thereof), and the power of a name. It’s going to be a semi-mythology AU, but just purely because of the subject matter and the enormity of it, I probably won't try to tackle that one for a bit. 

I also recognize that I have to do a lot of work to research this because I want to make sure I am not stepping on any cultural traditions or mythology to tell this story - I’ve got some work to do! Thanks for being curious babie <3
