First impressions are a peculiar thing. Science says that you, dear reader, will decide how trustworthy I am, my social status, my sexual orientation, my intelligence, my success, my promiscuity, my dominance, and my level of adventure-seeking within seconds of meeting me. How you could possibly guess at those things, well, science uses a lot of big words that all lead back to how I carry myself. Now, there are ways I could trick you into thinking that I am fantastic in every way, but that seems like an overbearing charade. Besides, I like me.
I am a writer, a dreamer, a student, a friend, and a marauder of emotions. I am a girl-shaped container of words and stories. I sketch, make music, dance, and plan. I like spontaneous art projects and bowls of strawberries. I love weird metaphors and Disney-themed anything. I am a self-proclaimed nerd of videogames and art styles. Welcome to this window into my world. It’s not big or grand, but I’ll try my best to make sure the glass doesn’t fog up or get grimy.
I’ve never tried blogging regularly before, but the idea has always intrigued me. Now that I’ve finally made the decision to do it, I feel like I’m a child who just won a golden ticket and is staring down at a world made entirely out of chocolate. Willy Wonka stands before me clad in a plum-purple suit. His cane blocks my path, but only for a moment. Hold your breath. Make a Wish. Count to Three.
