This is my official application to FOX to replace Alexi Lalas on the World Cup pundit show. My qualifications are:

-Having the humility to defer to Thierry Henry and Zlatan Ibrahimović and not make an ass of myself

-Knowing not to call someone a “wanker” on live TV

-Knowing not to insult my co-hosts on air

-Able to fill the “Token American” role

This should be sufficient since it’s clear that “understanding soccer” and being “polite” are not requirements for Alexi Lalas’ position. In fact, my application is humanitarian, as I think my replacing Lalas will protect him from the violence he will suffer at the hands of Zlatan. I am ready whenever you are FOX.
