♥ - jaldrik & lucario

              it hurt seeing dark colored bruises on aldrik’s skin, not as much as they hurt him of course but enough for jonathan to almost blurt out that they should move in together. they’re not quite there yet, he thinks and instead bites his tongue because at least they have jonathan’s room for a little over a week all to themselves (technically they have the entire house but jonathan would rather be tucked away in the confinements of his room with his –…aldrik). instead he just ushers him inside, knowing that sometimes the taller of the two doesn’t want or like talking about his situations and tonight he wants to make him feel relaxed, if anything. so that’s how they end up with the lights off in his room, only his blue fairy lights are on and the soft crooning of billie holiday is coming out of his record player, put on right after the doors finished playing.

smoke filled up his room and it’s like this that they’re on his bed, their clothes still intact but pressed against each other enough that it would be considered cuddling. legs ended up tangled and it looked like wonderland in his room, felt like it too. jonathan is buzzing, warmth wrapping itself around him and he looked up at aldrik from his position, eyes fluttering as he saw the german lad take another hit from the bowl. his blue lights make the bruises coloring his cheek look like paint. aldrik was a canvas and this was a very sad sight. he didn’t deserve half the shit thrown at him, no one does and it pulls at his heartstrings. he loves aldrik, he’s said it, he knows he has, maybe he doesn’t remember from their blurry nights but he’s done gone ahead and told him and he hopes aldrik knows. he also hopes he knows he means it. just the sight of him with his eyes closed as he finally let the smoke out was enough for jonathan just to push himself up and press a kiss to the boy’s cheek, softly, he doesn’t want to hurt him. his lips lingered, only briefly. a little caught off guard from what he just did. their movements have always been fast, hard, rough. they weren’t soft, not as consciously as this anyhow. he pulled back slowly, way too slow or at least it felt like it. he’s high and everything feels a little slow-motion to the point their faces were still very close together that jonathan realizes he didn’t really pull away but aldrik is now looking at him.

his breath kind of catches in his throat and he feels a sort of ache in his chest because fuck he loves him. so much it’s almost like it wants to tear him apart and he shouldn’t be surprise when he finds the both of them kissing. the empty bowl falling between them and jonathan’s hands find themselves tangled in aldrik’s hair that his hood fell back and it was then that aldrik pulled back and jonathan simply blinked.

“turn the lights off.”

he doesn’t want to but he did.

              pulling the trigger had become something rosario is used to. wearing tight black dresses to seduce men to their death was something she didn’t think twice about anymore. she’s rosario gonzalez. school-girl turned sicaria, no more plaid skirts unless she was using it to show off her killer legs to whatever poor bastard she was luring to the back of the nightclub where her 9mm pistol would greet them. what she wasn’t used to was loving a man, it was hard, not because he was difficult to love. but because during times like this amar es mas dificil que matar. to love is harder than to kill. she guesses luca could argue with her that he, as an individual is hard to love and maybe she can see why; he’s fleeting, dangerous, wanted. he can’t give her what she wants and all she wants is to be with him, to be his girl. coming back to her apartment she wasn’t surprised to see him there, in fact she’s never said a word about it, knowing she can’t ask him to live with her, he gets funny that way. he isn’t good with affection. he’s cold, rough. he fucks and rosario can’t recall a time they’ve been slow or a time where he’s made love to her instead. she can’t complain, she’ll take anything he gives her.

tonight she’s just tired. it’s one of those nights where she just wants to sit in the shower or curl up in bed and go to sleep. sometimes her victims haunt her and this one was different. he was different because rosario used to be in the same first grade class as him and she pulled the trigger without hesitation. granted, he deserved it. he was a thief, a liar and capable of things far worse than what rosario has done. she has boundaries and he did not. still. it’s something else. but seeing luca stand near the large window glass that leads to the balcony overlooking medellin, his face hidden by shadows and smoke from his cigarette she couldn’t help but just look at him in awe. she loves him, every inch of him. after a moment, she just kicked off her heels, dropping her bag on the floor and strode over to him, slowly. luca was a lot of things, one of them was being his own. there’s an inkling she feels that he’ll never really be hers, a wild thing like himself isn’t meant to be stuck to one place.

rosario likes to pretend though. she likes to pretend that she doesn’t know luca could one day walk out her door and not come back, or that he’ll leave without a warning. she likes to pretend that he isn’t five steps in ahead of her when she’s barely catching up behind him. that’s why her hand tentatively touched his arm and she stood on her tip toes to press a soft kiss to his cheek, lips barely ghosting over his skin she can’t tell if she did kiss him because she was pulling back the moment she did it; he isn’t affectionate. she is, it’s moments like these when she’s vulnerable and soft and not the cheeky, promiscuous girl he fucked in the bathroom on their second meeting. instead of just standing she made way to her bathroom, leaving the door ajar in case he wants to come in (he won’t, he never does), got out off her clothes and into the scalding water, reverting back to brown pleasing eyes before the gun went off.
