Personal Challenge Day 0^$%^T

And the final sibling of my belf family; elder sister Zolala. Technically, Zola is not a blood elf; she is, or was, a High Elf. She was a dedicated student of the Light prior to Arthas’s march on Silvermoon during the 3rd war and was on the front lines standing against him as he lead the undead Scourge invasion into her home. She died in battle but her abilities caught the eye of several Scourge leaders and she was not allowed her warriors peace. She was raised as one of Arthas’s Death Knights and forced to turn her sword on those she once called allies.

After the battle of Light’s Hope Chapel and her freedom from the Lich King’s control, she swore her sword to Thrall and the Horde. She tried to reunite with her family but they viewed her as an abomination and they turned her away. It was several years before she was reunited with her beloved brothers (who had been small boys when she was killed) who had also been shunned by the family for unrelated reasons.

Gawd DAMN was her armor a pain in the ass. >.< Its not really complicated but it was still a bitch to figure out. Frigin hate plate armor. Xp

This blog is my attempt to not be afraid of silly ideas. Because sometimes ideas that seem silly are great, and often telling ourselves that an idea is silly is just a way to delay doing what we want to. What I want to do is make more of my own clothes. I want to think about what I’d want to wear if I wasn’t limited by what was in the shops or what was in fashion. And I can make clothes, and it’s fun, so I’m going to try to make and design more of my own.

  The idea of this blog is to follow my journey into DIY dressmaking. I’ll also write a bit about the clothing industry and some of the companies working towards making the industry more sustainable. There is a lot of exploitation within the garment industry and I want to know more about what we can do to counter this.

  For now I’m not selling the clothes I make, but I would love to. I just need to do some more research into the most  practical and ethical way of making clothes to sell. So if you like what you see let me know as I hope I will have some available to order in future. For now I will be selling some household products and will post details as I go. Stay tuned!
