Excited for Marvel Zombies, I'm genuinely looking forward to watching it when it drops. Obligatory "How Can I Make This About SpideyPink?"
Mind you I haven't read Marvel Zombies but I like coming up with my own interpretation for these two.
Whitney having a healing factor cannot be turned into a zombie for very long, but that doesn't stop her from doing her best to survive and not be devoured. She still needs enough of her body to regenerate fully, despite being rather careless about losing a limb or if she does get zombified. It will heal eventually.
She'd spend most of her time looking for Peter, and when she eventually does find him she's stuck to his side, promising to keep him safe and finding some way to cure him. Peter knows it's a futile promise for her to make, and he feels guilty putting her in more danger just by being near him, but he knows she's stubborn and won't back down so easily.
Admitedly it's comforting having her relentless optimism around, despite part of him desperately trying not to feed off of her. The only time he can really control himself around her are the brief periods of time Whitney is zombified. Her zombification lasts a few hours and during that time, they can interact without worrying about Peter accidentally attempting to eat her, at least until she turns back.
