There are so many things I love about this time of year, from new video games, to the Halloween decorations and the change of weather to a crispy cozy feel.

Zombie Island, France - 2017

So I just rewatched all the movies of Scooby-Doo, including the latest one: Return to Zombie Island, and I say this here and now just to say that I genuinely enjoyed the film. It was funny, nostalgic and had its own creepy and mysterious moments. But the one thing that absolutely grinded my gears was Velma's annoying goal to find a scientific reason behind the happenings of Moonscar Island. Like, this chick saw an assorted amounts of zombies, ghosts and werecats, floated and was tied up because of wax voodoo dolls and even used said dolls against the aforementioned werecats and had witnessed her friends nearly have their souls drained. And this is not the only proof of supernatural phenomena Velma gained audience to. In the Witch's Ghost, her romantic interest turned out to be a Warlock, fought his ancestor, who was a witch and a ghost, decided that the best course of action was to have the nearest Wiccan (Thorn) recite a spell to stop Sarah, watching her friend be chased, captured and tied down by living by giant turkeys, living pumpkins and trees, got shot at with fireballs and witnessed Sarah and Ben get sucked into the book, that was promptly burned. I don't think there's a scientific reason for that. Then there was the whole scenario in Japan, where crazy robot lady resurrected the Black Samurai and Shaggy and Scooby had to fight him with a magic sword with a centuries old dragon inside. And apparently the Kiss Band has some level of superpowers. Fine. And I'll leave the Alien Invaders and the Goblin King out of this because aliens are technically not supernatural and her memories of the Goblin King adventure were wiped out by said Goblin King, with only Scooby and Shaggy remembering the tale. She even admitted into believing in the Loch Ness Monster!!! Like, hello. Seeing her get hung up over fonts would be more realistic then the slapstick bogus they're trying to sell me. Now don't get me wrong, I love Velma as a character, but this sudden disbelief in monsters and ghosts when she's seen them face to face just staggers me and makes me emotionally exhausted
