Because you are using the word "asshole" as a curse, doesn't that technically make it hate speech?

Oh goodness, you’re reaching. The r-word: A slur that has been used for years to dehumanize and discriminate against the intellectually disabled for their disability.Asshole: An unpleasant insult for unpleasant behavior, because assholes can generally be smelly things.Hate speech: Speech that attacks a person or group on the basis of e.g. race, religion, gender, disability, or sexual orientation.

Note that “asshole” is an insult not directed at any of those things! Amazing! It’s almost like it only takes half a second to come up with a vulgarity that doesn’t involve slurs!Willful ignorance also stinks. Don’t be stinky like Jon. The Golden Rule is golden for a reason. And before you ask, why yes, I would like to be called an asshole if I said a slur and acted like a big unrepentant turdblossom about it.

I liked that Smith finished as he started; with a crack in the wall. You didn't find that at least a little interesting?

I guess that had some level of symmetry to it.  I found a good deal of that original plotline to be difficult to follow, so I’m not sure if I found it that satisfying to throw back to the crack in the wall.
