"Can someone explain what this device following us around is? Along with the strange Mobian's in the distance." Zavok had mostly ignored them as they clearly weren't warriors or even knew the first thing about fighting.

"I believe it is one of those Mobian's devices called a 'camera' and is recording us. As for them, I am unsure. They're certainly not warriors, though have provided some great entertainment watching them struggle traversing Hex." Zik had to admit, these people were good at surviving, though that's it.

"They're called a 'film crew' and making something called a 'documentary' about Zeti life from what I overheard. They tried asking me for an 'interview' to ask questions at one point." Zor wasn't surprised they asked him as he was the smallest of the Zeti.

"They asked you and not ME? Ugh, talk about zero taste. Whatever, I wouldn't want to talk to those loser's anyway." Zeena would say this while hogging most of the camera and fixing up her hair now knowing they were being recorded.

"I was tempted to eat them, though they make good food and leave some for me. I saw we keep them around." Zomom had grown used to the flavorful food of Mobius during his time there as Hex food was so bland and tasteless.

"If they wanna know about our way of life I say I should give them an up close and personal demonstration. Come on boss, let me at'em." Zazz didn't care if they weren't too strong as it'd just be fun to knock them around.

"A tempting suggestion." Zavok didn't like Mobian's as they were pathetic and weak, however. "Let them be, for now," he said much to the surprised of the rest of the Deadly Six. "There are some powerful Mobian's worthy of respect. Perhaps allowing this 'documentary' to be shown shall bring out more great warriors. I want a challenge when we make our next move. And perhaps we could even find allies. I myself was impressed with a few Mobian's during my time there." Who knows what the future could hold. "But we stay away from the tribes. Only Zeti are allowed to know where they are."

"I'd say ye be scally wag bilge daughter of a seadog," Marine said, then motions for Tangle to counter.

"...Ya lost me after bilge. I thought we were supposed to be playing something called vinegar talk." Tangle honestly had no clue what it was, though it sounded cool.

"Do ye Mobian's not play vinegar talk? I even went easy on ya and gave ye a simple one. I think ye folks call it 'trash talk' or somethin."

"Oh, uh, is it friendly to trash talk to friends in the Sol Dimension?" Tangle asked, not sure how that could be seen as a friendly game.

"It is not, it's just a common way pirates banter with one another. Marine isn't a traditional pirate, though she says she is one. Simply without the plundering and hurting people. She is a great ally."

"Blaze, ye mumbling seaweed-slurpin sack o'maggots! How ye been?" Marine asked as Blaze walked over.

"I am fine you blathering knuckling-dragging cabin boy."

"That be fair enough, though methinks ye be a sheep-brained cross-eyed waste of skin!"

"And I believe you to be a pin-headed scurvy-ridden bag of vomit."

"Ay, that'd be a good one. You're a cricket-sized clam-tongued piece of filth. Top that one."

"To retort, you're a pig-breathed yellow-bellied anchor-head."

"Ye haven't been slackin. I ain't got nothin ta top ye, though I'll come out with the victory next time."

"Wait, what? Blaze won the game? I'm completely lost." Tangle didn't understand any of that so was left confused.

"Vinegar talk was rather hard for me to understand as well, though you get used to it over time." Blaze was rather confused herself the first time Marine wished to play. "Though it's all in good fun. Even if it doesn't sound like it." The feline herself was offended when she was explained she had been insulted, at least until the raccoon said it was just good fun between good friends.

"Yeah, some friends do be like that. Had a couple friends that I greeted with by calling them losers and they'd do the same. Vinegar talk sounds way harder. Though nice to have ya helping at the new base Marine."

"I be happy to help ye crew you cross-eyed whale-fart!" Marine then walked off to introduce herself to others.

"She's really about that vinegar talk, huh?"

"You shall grow used to it, and it really is a part of her charm. Despite her rather brash nature she is one of the kindest souls I've met."

"You all must've been in desperate need of proper repairs for awhile," Belle said as she worked on the wiring of the current Scrapnik. The tinkerer didn't except the rumors of an moving island that pulled up to the mainland full of abandoned Badniks that set up a village were this true. She thought maybe it was blown out of proportion, though clearly that wasn't the case.

"While not untrue we've managed to scrape and still had a supply of decent parts to keep us running for a few more years. Though fresh new wiring and parts is much better," Sigma said as he focused on repairing another Scrapnik. "You are rather skilled at this, and your friend has been a great assistant."

"Well, I've had lots of time to practice on repairing Badniks which includes Motobud. I call him a Tinknik though." First Badniks, then her Tinknik, and now Scrapniks? Things were becoming very interesting. "Still, I can't believe you moved an entire island all the way to the mainland."

"We decided it was more practical as we only had enough fuel for a one way trip which means we might've not been able to bring all out spare parts with us." Sigma would close up the Scrapnik he was working on and send it off, then moves to the next.

"We?" Belle asked putting the panel on the Scrapnik and sending it off. The tinkerer then notices a shadow over her and turns around.

"...Hello," Mecha Sonic said as he stared down at Belle with his optic sensor.

"Gear's and starters!" Belle shouted as she fell back in her seat and onto the ground. The tinkerer quickly composed herself, standing up and dusting herself off. "I'm terribly sorry, I didn't meant to react that way. You just spooked me a bit."

"Oh, it's quite alright. Mecha Sonic is still learning the concept of being social and perhaps boundaries as well. He is completely harmless, provided you don't intend to harm the village." Sigma could at least say Mecha Sonic was trying.

"...You may call me Mecha, and I apologize for scaring you." Mecha Sonic supposed he had some more research to do to fully understand how to be casually social.

"It quite alright Mecha. Just, boy you're tall." Belle knew Eggman had gone through several designs before settling on Metal Sonic, though she'd never heard of this one before. "Are you next in line for repairs?"

"No," Mecha Sonic said looking at his hands. "I was repaired by those who went offline fixing me by giving me vital parts. They're... special to me. If that makes sense." He was still coming to terms with his new emotions and feelings.

Belle smiled softly at Mecha Sonic. "There's no need to explain yourself, I completely understand. As for your friend that went offline, I'd be more than happy to help get them up in running. I maybe have to make a trip to the store for more supplies, though I'll get it done." The tinkerer was sure none of the Scrapniks could walk into town and buy fresh parts so she'd do it for them.

"That is... appreciated." Mecha Sonic then stared intently at Belle for a moment. "Would you, like to be mayor of Scrapnik Village?"

"...What?" Belle asked, not expecting the random offer. The tinkerer was just here to help fix up these abandoned Scrapniks. How should she respond to politely decline?

"Oh, I see the idea now. Someone who is native to the island, though also more like us. That makes perfect sense. Let us have a vote!" Sigma suddenly chimed. "Attention everyone! Who would like to vote Ms. Belle as mayor of Scrapnik Village?" This earned various different sounds from all the Scrapnik. "Well, what do you say Ms. Belle?"

Oh dear, everyone in the village is now looking at her, and they all seem so excited. "...Alright, I'm sure it'll be fine." Gears and starters why does she always found herself in the most unusual situations.

"Finally, finished moving everything," Tangle said leaning back in the chair in the rather beat up room. "Who ever would've thought setting up shop would be so hard."

"We are done for now, at least until we begin repairs," Whisper said as she analyzed and accessed the damages in the room. "It'll be costly. How much did this anonymous donor supply us with?"

"If we're smart just enough to fix the place up now that it's paid for. Other than that you'll have to start from scratch to build up to what The Restoration was," Belle said as she shifted though various piles of paperwork. "How did Jewel or Amy manage all this paperwork?"

"It's a process, and can take some getting used to. Are you sure you wish to take the reasonability alone?" Lanolin asked as she began to unpack a few things.

"It's a lot, though I'll manage. I know you wish to get everyone back in some form of order so we can continue help with protection and rebuilding efforts." Belle wasn't going to shy away from the task after just starting.

"If ya need help just let me know. Between my mom raising me to be good at paperwork and the times I've helped Jewel at her museum I can take some of the load off." Tangle wasn't a filing machine, though could certainly lessen the load.

"I can handle weapon and supply counts if need be." Whisper doubts she could do much more than that as paperwork was never her strong suit.

"I believe I can assist far better," Blaze said as she entered the room much to everyone's surprise.

"I thought you were on vacation. Wouldn't getting involved be the opposite of that?" Belle asked knowing Blaze should be taking this time to relax. Even if she wasn't she should be getting back to Sol soon.

"Truth be told, I have grown rather restless. It was fun at first, though once you run over all of Mobius a few times things become less exciting. Besides, I have relaxed enough and have informed trusted individuals in my dimension to watch things while I extend my stay." Blaze could use something to do at this point.

"Are you sure about this? The task is rather daunting. We have to start from scratch." Whisper wasn't doubting Blaze's ability as she is a royal, albeit one from a different dimension.

"Fear not, I shall stay as long as need be until The Restoration is back on it's feet and found a proper director to replace me when I return back to my dimension." Blaze was no stranger to troubling times. "I have even prepared my own contribution in terms of funding. Beyond this anonymous donor that is."

"That would be extremely helpful to get some of the more important projects back on track faster, and those that had to be stopped halfway through." Belle didn't even want to think at the list of complaints let alone look at them again.

"Then it's all agreed that Blaze shall be the acting director until such time that we are running at full efficiently and she finds a full time replacement so she may return home?" Lanolin asked getting a nod from everyone.

"I shall do my best to live up to the standards Amy and Jewel have set." Blaze was ready for the challenge, even if it seemed rather simple compared to running Sol.

"For the last time, I'm not going to arm wrestle you Tangle," Lanolin said, annoyed at Tangle's insistence they arm wrestle given the obvious stack of field reports on her desk. "Why do you even wanna arm wrestle with me?"

"Team building?" Tangle asked more so then said, though this only earned her an annoyed eye twitch from Lanolin. "I just wanna is all. Whisper is busy tinkering with her Wispon, Duo is out in the field, and I think Surge will break my arm just for fun." Despite how reckless the lemur is she still likes all her bones not broken.

"And I don't want to nor do I have the time, so you have your answer." Lanolin didn't have time to goof off like Tangle did as she was in charge of just more than the Diamond Cutters.

"Oh I get it. You just don't wanna lose to me because it'll mean I'm tougher than ya. It's cool, I get it." Tangle was clearly trying to goad Lanolin into it, even if she's pretty sure she's too smart for that.

Lanolin then set down her pen, slide the current piece of paper in front of her, and let out a heavy sigh. "If it'll get you to leave then fine." The sheep just wanted Tangle to let her focus at this point. And felt her pride was being attacked, just a bit.

Whoa, that actually worked?! Hey Tangle was going to take it as she sat down in the chair and placed her elbow on the table.

"Don't worry, I'll take it easy on ya," Tangle said as Lanolin place her elbow on the table and gripped her hand.

"Funny, I was going to say the same thing," Lanolin said before her grip became extra tight as she started to push against Tangle's arm.

Hold up, Tangle was NOT ready. Swiftly the lemur pushed back, though only managed to halt Lanolin's arm, not being able to push her arm back. "Okay, maybe I was a bit too cocky, though I ain't done." She would start pushing as hard as she can.

"True, though I wasn't only elected as leader of the Diamond Cutters just because of my leadership skills." Without warning Lanolin would go full force, slamming Tangles arm against the table and flipping her out of the chair and onto the floor. "I also have an intense workout."

"Ow," Tangle said, getting up while rubbing her arm. "Alright, fair point." The lemur didn't know Lanolin was so strong. She gave it all she had and the sheep not only won, though flipped her like she weighted nothing.

"Though I will admit, that was fun. Would you like to go again?" Lanolin asked, resetting her arm to see if Tangle would go for round two.

"I think I'm good. I'll just be getting some ice for my wrist," Tangle said, swiftly retreating as now way her wrist could handle a second round with Lanolin.

"Finally, now I can focus on my paperwork." Lanolin spoke aloud as she picked up her pen once more and continued reviewing the current paper she had been before Tangle interrupted her.

"You guys haven't met Shadow yet? That's crazy," Tangle said, kinda surprised to hear Surge never ran into Shadow before, not with how crazy she was going with messing stuff up.

"Can't say I have, though I heard he does exceptional for G.U.N and has a high mission success rate." Lanolin wondered if she should reach out to G.U.N and see if they do a bit of a team up on more dangerous missions.

"Yeah, well, I don't fucking want to. I haven't liked any other goody two shoed hedgehog so ain't no way am I going to like a third." In Surge's mind she lucked on not meeting another hedgehog. Not that she actually knew Silver, though he seemed like a good two shoed bitch like Sonic.

"I mean, Shadow is a good guy, though he ain't the nicest. I heard he almost iced Eggman when he was still Mr. Tinker. Sonic had to seriously throw down with Shadow to get him to chill." Tangle was just going by what she heard.

"Then he's a bitch for not sticking to his guns. I wouldn't have left until I put Eggman's ass into the fucking ground personal so clearly he ain't shit." Surge wouldn't put the doc down regardless of if has his memories or not.

"That's, uh, I don't think I'm going to comment." Tangle thought it best to keep her opinion to herself for once. The lemur looked over at Whisper, though it might be best to leaver her out of this, for reasons.

"What about you wisp flinger? Why is this Shadow guy such a big deal?" Surge asked, noticing that Whisper seemed to be trying to stay out of the conversation. Might as well see what that's about.

Whisper looked up at Surge, knowing full well she did that on purpose. "He's effective in combat, analytical, has extensive battle strategies, has long and short ranged attack methods, and is as fast as Sonic."

"If he's a dull as you then it sounds like you two would be buddy buddy." Talk about fucking lame ass answer. Obviously Shadow had to be tough shit running it with Sonic and Eggman, though so did she. He ain't the special.

Kitsunami is just dozing off in they're chair, too tired to care for the conversation or Surge trying to pick fights. Why were these meetings getting earlier in the morning?

"Come on guys. It's been, like, a month since it happened. Why can't we just let Silver rejoin the Diamond Cutters?" Tangled asked, still confused why they were still against it.

"Tangle, Silver didn't make a simple mistake, they got Duo hurt. Maybe I was a bit too harsh as I'm sure they didn't mean to, though it still happened. Besides, we might just slow Sliver down with how powerful they are." If Silver can go toe to toe with people like Sonic maybe it's best to let them run solo for now.

"I mean, yeah, but, come on. Whisper, what do you think?" Tangle would ask Duo, though he seemed to want to stay out of it, which was kinda weird if you ask her.

"I... don't want to misguide them again. Silver only reacted aggressively after I did, and I still don't believe I've overcome how paranoid and hostile I get when I suspect Mimic is involved." Whisper accepted her part in what happened between Silver and Duo. In the wolf's mind she needed to improve herself first before feeling comfortable with Silver rejoining.

"Well, um, I mean." Tangle wasn't sure what to say as she didn't want Whisper to be uncomfortable, and they both brought up good points.

"I say let them back in. I wanna see what's so great about them," Surge said, curious to what the hype was over Silver. They saw them for a bit and that hedgehog looked like a push over.

"From a tactical stand point Sliver would be a large boost to the team. Beyond the pure power their psychokinesis it will give us many more options in terms of defense, stealth, and aerial attacks." Kit saw it as the most logical play.

"With Duo refusing to take part in this vote and having excluded Tangles vote up until now this makes it a tie. So, the decision seems up to you Tangle."

"Oh, well, I want Silver to join, but." Tangle found herself looking between Surge and Kit on her left and Lanolin and Whisper on her right. Ugh, why couldn't it have gone the easy way with everyone voting Silver back in. The wanted Sliver back, though didn't want to stress Whisper out.

"I, guess it's a no if not everyone is comfortable with the idea." Ugh, now Tangle felt bad since she was the one who wanted a revote. Nothing can ever be simple anymore, can it?

"Then Silver is still out, for now at least." Lanolin could tell this brought down everyone's mood, minus Surge and Kit who didn't seem to care, though it's not like she wanted Silver out forever. Thus the Diamond Cutters went to go about their daily activities.

"With all due respect, I'm not building this for you," Belle said, handing back Surge's rather crudely drawn 'blueprints' for some kind of brass knuckles Wispon.

"Why not?! It's a good idea!" Surge seemed less that thrilled that Belle was declining her request. Much like the last fifteen people she asked to build this for her which included Drippy.

"I don't think you understand just how my energy a Wisp can put out. There's no way I can build something that small that could safely handle the energy of a Wisp. I'd need to build something closer to a gauntlet and even that'd be dangerous as you'd have the direct energy of a Wisp on your hand." Over all it was extremely unsafe.

"Jokes you on, I can beef myself up with Wisp's if I got the right fancy tech thing. That's why I want this, though if you gotta make it bigger then make it bigger." Surge seemed pretty intent on getting her own Wispon.

"Why do you even want a Wispon anyway? You already move at the speed of sound and can smash badniks with your bare hands." Belle didn't see why Surge of all people would want a Wispon.

"Because I got some awesome ideas to get even stronger with it and beat Sonic's bitch ass into the ground next time we meet." Surge wasn't sure how Sonic used Wisp on his own so she wanted to have access to it as well.

"Now my answer is absolutely a no. I know what you did to Whisper and her Wisp so if you intend to use it just so you can fight Sonic then you'll have to find someone else." Belle could understand if it was for missions since Surge was now a Diamond Cutter, though not if she only wanted it to fight Sonic.

"Fine! I will!" Surge yelled as she crumpled the paper and threw it at Belle since it seems she'll have to think of something bigger since the brass knuckles are too small to work. "Not even trying to kill him anymore, I just wanna prove I'm better!" The tenrec would shout as she stormed off.

Belle watched as Surge stormed off, feeling bad even if she shouldn't, yet it was hard not to. The tinkerer knew the tenrec was mainly obsessed with beating Sonic all because of Starline. Even gone he's still causing problems for everyone he's interacted with. The puppet picked up the paper, uncrumpling it.

"Well, maybe if I make a energy container with some regulators to hook it up to this could work." Belle wasn't sure why she was now humoring making this, though maybe a part of her relates to Surge. At least when it comes to having her entire life turned upside down just because of one person. "I hope I don't regret this."
