The sheep stepped forward to catch the wolf to make sure they didn't fall over or get hurt. Yet her eyes were on the outline of surge as she bolted away. She couldn't help but feel like it would matter more coming from her. To hear her side of that story, to feel that emotion coming from the victim. It felt wrong what happened to her and continued to happen to her.

" ... Damn it Surge... just once i wish i understood what was going through your head... "

She muttered before turning to the wolf.

" Wish i could tell you more about the Wisp, that i'm afraid is a story for Sonic to tell... or perhaps Mr. Prower... i'm as clueless as you are. I was in the command center when it appeared, but they seemed ot be helping Sonic so... that's always a good sign "

Sonic came to a screeching halt when Kit came closer and made his demand. On the one hand he was really afraid Surge might get angry at him for spilling the beans. Truth was the only one who knew everything was Whisper he only knew bits of it, but he supposed enough to tell him---still damn if he wasn't being put between a rock and a hard place here.

" You aren't making this easy on me are you? "

He said with a soft tone as he placed his head into his hand.

" Fine i'll be straight with you. I only know what Surge said and that wasn't much... she went to this place, and is getting her memories back or maybe she has them back. I don't know... Whisper knows more but she's with Tangle.. an probably will be for a while... "

" I figure she hopes seeing this place will do the same for you... and that's all i know... i've never been out here before... well passed by it maybe... but yea that's it that's all i know..."

Miles crossed his arms and listened to blaze as he was glad to hear she had a limit of some kind. So phasing herself was maybe natural for her but having to phase things outside that was difficult maybe, even draining. Well it wasn't much of a weakness but it was something. If he had a scan of that ability up close maybe he could work out a way to counter it. But for now it was best they avoid a confrontation with this warrior.

" Belle i don't doubt you... or Belle Bot... your skills are incredible. I just worry that we are up against foes we don't know the full capabilities to yet... i just want someone three to... back you up... that's all"

He didn't want her to feel like he was coddling her, just that he didn't want her on her own just yet. Not until this mess blew over...

" But if Blaze thinks Odessa is the right call and doesn't mind her being away for awhile. Maybe its best if we keep her away from lupus in the time being... either way we should get you out of the base, and someplace off site for awhile. "

" I agree with miles even if its just until this blockade is over... i don't like that they wanted Belle ... it was so oddly specific and when i refused i could see the president was a little frustrated by it... i would feel better as well if someone was with you... "

"Well, guess the giant Wisp is a story for another time. Not like anyone would be paying much attention to that with the way G.U.N is acting right now. They aren't exactly strangers to throwing their weight around, though this is a new low, even for them." The canine would honestly give whoever was in charge a piece of his mind, though doubt he'd ever get that chance and he wasn't much of a fighter.

He looked at Surge walking off then back at Lanolin. "Hey, uh, I don't really know much Surge beyond the damaged she caused in that town and since she joined the Diamond Cutter's, though sometimes people don't want to be helped. I get the feeling you won't appreciate this, but maybe you just gotta forget about her and let her make her own mistakes."

Kitsunami glares at Sonic with a high degree of intensity, trying to see even the slightest sign that he was lying to him, though after a minute of this he was sure they told the truth. "Okay... though I do I know Surge is really in her right mind? Maybe she's delirious and isn't making rational thoughts." The fennec wasn't fully sure why he was trying to find something wrong with this. The programming was certainly playing a part, though he was past the worse of it.

"Actually, I think that's enough talking and questions. Let's get to this place before I talk myself into changing my mind and head back." Kitsunami had gotten better and pushing past his paranoia when he felt the programming was the root of it, even if there were still other factors to him being somewhat irrational and trying to find a reason to distrust Sonic and head back to the base.

"Then it's decided that while me and Jewel wrap things up with G.U.N Odessa and Miles shall go with Belle to leave the base. However, I still wish to address one thing, and its why G.U.N in intent of shutting it down completely while they preform this investigation. Correct me if I'm mistaken, though I feel like there shouldn't be a problem with keeping the bare minimum of operations running while they look for whatever it is they think is here." Blaze wasn't sure off all the rules of Mobius, though back in Sol she's checked out a few organizations and allowed them to continue to run while she checked things out.

"Blaze isn't wrong there. Honestly, just letting the Diamond Cutter's, Jewel, and a few others stay to keep giving orders and directions to base's would be the only thing needed. A small group G.U.N could easily keep an eye on while they do their investigation. Something I'm sure they are well aware they could do," Belle said, sure G.U.N could've easily offered to let a skeleton crew to keep things up and running.

"I got a serious question for you dude, and I mean no offense by asking. Just what workout's have you done to bench two hundred and fifty pounds?"

"It's okay, I get this question all the time. Honestly, I got into it from my brother. He set me up on a good workout routine and taught me about proper protein intake. I warm up in the morning with some squats and pushups, a flavored protein shake, and a light jog. On the weekends I hit the gym and work on each core muscle. My brother is very through at planning workouts."

(Just recently watched all three episodes. Love the characters.)

Whisper touched her cheek blushing at the memory of there first encounter. Chaos Tangle had been so hyper and forward and just startled her! Not to mention even back then she thought she was kinda hot. Sure she hid that fact behind her mask, and her training but she still found people attractive. She just was disciplined enough to not say anything and keep her feelings buried. Still looking back... to think that was there first real interaction? she was sure in years to come they'd joke about it still but it did embarrass her.

✋You surprised me, i didn't intend to it was just... instinct, my training kicked in. I'm just glad i didn't hurt you to bad...✋

She honestly didn't know how much Tangle had heard of her before they met. She technically hated those damn stories and tried to avoid any mention of them. Hell she even heard some jerk was making angel t-shirts! She didn't deserve that kind of attention... and those stories were always embellished to the point it wasn't even her!

Worse... she never did it for good reasons, she was just... angry, and wanted revenge.

She honestly didn't know how she felt about the idea of destiny or amy and her astrology. She knew her tribe was very big into it, and so she was always conflicted. Her fingers touched the little feather clicked into her hair she sometimes wore when she wasn't fighting, a little homage to her heritage. Maybe she did believe in destiny... but she also knew that destiny could change and be rewritten by the power of the heart.

✋ Well i'm happy you never gave up on me... and kept coming back. Even after i tossed you like a sack of potatoes... you were very persistent... i guess you still are. But, i've come to enjoy that about you... that and your smile✋

She shrugged as tangle admitted she never really paid attention to amy or her talks. Or maybe she just couldn't focus long enough? she was convinced Tangle might have a bit of ADHD it would explain alot! but even so she still loved her, and was happy they were at least trying to make things work.

So far... it was going well... despite the bumps... and the bruises alot the way.

✋ Sort of off topic but... will we be sleeping in the same bed? We haven't really discussed sleeping arrangements since we arrived...✋

"I've always had a pretty thick skull growing up. Accidently tripped and cracked a wall as a kid, though I was up and about in seconds without much care. Didn't even notice I was hurt." Tangle doubt she held a candle to some of the other heavy hitters she knew like Knuckles or Vector, though she could certainly take a hit as she's proven many times when facing against bad guys.

"It's like my Uncle Rowan always said. Sometimes ya can't make a new friend if you are a little bit persistent. Though I guess I was way more than a little persistent." Thinking on it the lemur was more than likely far too overbearing when they first met. Man, it's weird looking back at how much she was, with everyone really.

"We've shared a bed before so why would we sleep in different beds?" Tangle asked, not sure why Whisper was asking, though it then clicked in her head. "Oh, right, we're dating. Chaos, I'm still getting used to that. Though I still say sharing a bed should be fine. Unless you don't want to. I don't wanna make you uncomfortable or anything."

She felt it in her core long before the old man warned her. Everything on her body suddenly tensed up as she could feel the overwhelming power flood the room the moment Zavok's hand reached out of the water. By the time the old man told her to get behind him, she was already taking over. "Don't have to tell me twice!"

That ridiculous power is just like when that rodent goes golden, but different. "Any advice, old man?" She said, Bracing for impact, unlike him, she doesn't have some secret super form, at least not yet.

"You mean other than hope Zavok manages to maintain control of his power instead of losing control and blasting a hole in Hex? Not at all." Zik tapped his staff on the ground, blue lines traveling all over the walls of the cave. He then summons a barrier in front of them. "It's been a long time since I used Zeti Magic like this. Let's hope I still got it." He's going to need to train a bit himself after this to get back into proper shape.

Red energy then shoots around the room, the barrier holding and the lines on the walls seeming to contain it inside the cave even as it continued to build. The energy was slowly becoming more unstable, soon starting to crack Zik's barrier. Then, it began to stead, starting to flow back into the pool. A moment later it was gone, and finally Zavok pulled himself out.

Zavok took a few steps, then takes a knee, clearly recovering. Zik was quick holding out his staff in case Zeena attempted to check on him.

"Give him a moment to recover. This new process is clearly more draining on the body. He may not be in his right mind either so best keep our distance and wait until he speaks." Zik couldn't take on a super charge Zavok even if he was in peak form.

Lanolin averted her eyes from Surge as if she wasn't sure how to feel about what she said. It wasn't as if she didn't understand Surge on some level she did. But letting the world turn you into a villain when none of it was really your fault seemed wrong to her. Starline was the villain here, Surge was just a victim of his madness. Everything she did was a by product of that in one way or another. The world needed to know the story, needed that truth more then anything. But it wasn't her story to tell and if Surge didn't want to tell it who was she to tell her otherwise.

" And you really don't want to tell the world why? Your happy with ... with being vilified like this? It... doesn't feel right but... if this is what you want... "

She said clearly still struggling with the situation. For all the crap she gave Surge, right now she felt like she was the only one ready to defend her. Her attention turned to the blogger and she placed a hand on her cheek. She wasn't sure she should say anything at all... it might come back to haunt her.

" As an official of restoration we'll release our statement once this crisis is over... however, i'll only say this... When the war was raging, and your homes were burning--- ask yourselves... where was GUN then... then decide for yourselves if you still trust them..."

Sonic didn't respond right away to Kit as if he was focused on the road in front of him. Really he was trying to understand why Surge didn't tell him. It confused him, and he felt like if he did tell him he'd be betraying surge yet again and he'd been trying so hard to earn her trust. If he told Kit it could come back to bite him and if he didn't the fennec would have more reason to distrust him.

He sighed... what a shitty choice he had to make...

" Eh, Guess you have to keep hating me... whatever happened to Surge that's her story to tell not mine--- maybe Whisper will tell you... an honestly she knows better then i do... "

It was Sonic's way of saying yes, without directly saying it. That gave him plausible deniability if surge got pissed off about him yapping more secrets away!

" Anyway i'm sure it'll all make more sense when we get to where she wanted us to go... it was important to her and... i promised i'd get you there. i've broken enough promises to her... this is one i wanna keep..."

Miles stood up and rubbed the back of his neck as he'd been wondering about them to. The fact they were able to put Amy down with such ease was a testament to there skill. There power was also on another level, allowing them to completely avoid an attack? Depending on the level of control a power like that could be an annoyance or it could be outright next level. However Miles still felt like Odessa was best where she was, the people were more important after all.

" We aren't saying that Belle... This person was able to take Amy down... and was able to avoid blazes attack entirely. I'm not sure either of us could handle a fighter like that even if we knew exactly what we were up against... "

" But yea for now i think Blaze is right. We need to get you someplace Safe, i'll call Gmerl in once we are safe. He's probably the best bodyguard we could ask for... plus i doubt you want your knight away for to long "

"Me flapping my gums about my cry baby backstory ain't going to do anything. It's not like most people at The Restoration already know what happened with Starline, and I'm sure you'll get a lot of people telling other's once this shit is over and done with. Weather I want to or not, people are going to find out. I just don't care. I'm gonna do what I'm gonna do, regardless of what people think about me." Surge had her style and wasn't going to change it for anyone.

"You're talking to an avid G.U.N hater here so you don't gotta convince me of anything. Though I think I'd like to get a statement about the giant mega Wisp that was flying overhead earlier. If you know anything about that." He was one of the many that got spooked seeing that Wisp appear out of nowhere. At least they were friendly and moved the ship crashing down somewhere else. It still wasn't something he expected to see today.

"You have fun with that, I gotta go get arrest," Surge said, shoving the canine out of the way almost knocking him over as she stormed off. "Drippy is already off the base so no need to delay this shit anymore."

Kitsunami gets closer to Sonic. "Either you tell me the truth or I'm going back. I'm not asking for details, just if Surge got her memories back. I'm only trying to piece everything together." The fennec didn't want to be sheltered from the truth anymore, and even if he wasn't perfect he's gotten better at just blindly following what Surge tells him and making his own choices. This was one of those times.

"We won't have to worry about the one who assaulted Amy for the day. I'm unsure what fully happened, though I believe they overload themself with their ability to avoid my attack." Something that still irked Blaze as she would've stopped them from fleeing if they hadn't managed to phase the entire plane to prevent it from being damaged. "They were clearly struggling to keep their power in check after that."

"I'll be fine on my own Tails, though I think I'll just stay inside Belle-Bot until everything calms down. I haven't field tested it yet, though as I said, I did design it to hopefully stand against Metal Sonic." Belle wasn't going to go out of her way to find out, though if Metal Sonic caused problems and she was able to help she would.

"I'd say that all depends. It's a rare sight for me to see Odessa so angry, and this General Lupus got under her nerves rather swiftly. Best to avoid them interacting today if we can help it, least she attempt to challenge him." Blaze knew the reason why. Odessa having strong morals and need to protect the weak. Something G.U.N wasn't doing much of right now and they were one's who were supposed to do just that.

"I'm not being sentimental. I just don't want to be stuck being the boss of you bunch if he doesn't come back." That was partially true; in reality, she knows Zarvok is the one keeping them together; without him, the group would fall apart. She also may be a little sad to lose the only person she begrudgingly respects.

"If this doesn't work, you better not make some rushed, botched job when it is my turn to take the dive. I'm not in the mood to be turned into Zeti soup."

"If this doesn't work we seal the spring again and forget this ever happened. That was Zavok's order should he fail this process and we will honor all commands given by the leader of the Deadly Six." Zik wouldn't let anyone use it regardless of if Zavok gave the order before going in or not. "And bold of you to assume you'd be in charge. That job would be-" He cut himself off seeing Zavok's hand suddenly grabbing the edge of the spring.

"Zeena, I suggest you move behind me and do so rather quickly. It seems the method is about to cause Zavok to have a rather intense burst of power," Zik said seeing raw energy starting to build up around Zavok's hand and getting bigger. "Quickly now, unless you wish to be charred Zeti."

Another question for the Zeti (sorry I’m asking so much) Zomom once said “Mom was right, I’m a failure” after fighting Sonic… Does he have mommy issues? Does Zavok or the other Zeti know about this?

"Please, don't get my brother started. Our mother was... intense, to say the least. Something neither of us truly understood until recent events were revealed to us. Still, she made Master Zik look tame."

What did Zavok and Zomom fight over as kids?

"Surely you jest. We're Zeti, and were trained to be in the Deadly Six since we became of age. There's nothing we DIDN'T fight over. If we had a disagreement of any kind we settled it with our fists."

"Yeah, Master Zik was very strict about that. Zarvok won most of the time, though there were a few times when I came out on top."

Family, one of those little things she didn't fully grasp anymore. Once she had a family, no not just a family but a tribe. Her memory of that time was so vague and like a distant dream. But she remembered vaguely how close everyone had been. The smiles, the joy and love she felt back then. It was all she could do to just remember what that was or how it felt. She could still remember her mother's face but it was so fuzzy it was hard to focus on. She had her mother's eyes, she remembered that. But everything else? it was a dream she couldn't hope to reclaim.

So it pained her to see Tangle's family take it all for granted. To treat each other so poorly, and especially to see how they treated Tangle. Sooner or later she feared it would all come to a head. Tangle was trying so hard to not deal with it but Whisper had to wonder if that was the best way to approach the situation. But she knew very little about how to handle such situations--- her adopted father was hardly a prime example of good family values. In a way she supposed they both had awful father figures.

She was happy when the conversation shifted to more enjoyable topics. Things she could relate to, such as trusting her own instincts with Tangle.

✋You were quite alot at first, i didn't know if i wanted to stuff a sock in your mouth or, laugh at your silly antics... ✋

She admitted as she placed the knife in the sink along with the cutting board to be washed. Always waiting for Tangle to look her way before she signed.

✋So Destiny? i didn't take you for one to believe in preordained future. Are you into Astrology? Amy seemed to be always asking what my sign was... she's an odd one miss Rose ✋

She shook her head, as she leaned back against the Sink letting Tangle work her magic on the Gumbo. She wasn't sure she ever had Gumbo before... so this would be a new experience for her.

Shit, did she just reveal her birthday was coming up soon? Nah Tangle wouldn't remember that or figure it out right? she rubbed her chin in worry she didn't like birthdays or admitting she was getting older!

"I just thought you were super cool and mysterious when we first met, even if you did flip me over and gave me a bit of a headache. It was still super cool and awesome." Tangle wasn't going to mention all the stories she heard about Whisper during the war when Eggman took over as she know she doesn't like them since she got the nickname Guardian Angel of The Battlefield. Mainly because she knew the wolf said she didn't do it to be a good person, just hunt Mimic. Huh, maybe that's why she's given the cloaked guy the benefit of the doubt.

"Nah, just that the more we got to know each other the more we clicked. Doesn't have nothing to do with destiny, just personality and stuff." Tangle wasn't one to believe to stuff like that, mainly because her mom tried to cram down her throat that she was supposed to be an accountant growing up and marry some well off guy then have kids. Yeah, destiny can go take a hike, fall off the mountain, and get crushed by a ton of rocks.

"I think Amy tried to help me once, though I got super bored, then we had a mission, and we just never picked it back up. Don't know none of that to be honest." Tangle didn't really pay attention to any of that stuff. Something about being born during a specific time of month deciding her personality rubs her the wrong way, though that's just her.

"Nope, there's no thing like me but me." Rocket tells her with a nod of his head. "..I guess that depends what your last visitor from space was, I'm better than most of them.. depending on what you consider better."

"You didn't bring an army to invade so that's already a good start." Still, Whisper intended to be cautious around this individual as it'd be foolish to assume they didn't mean any harm to this planet. "If you don't mind me asking, what brings you to this planet?"
