Eddie let out a startled laugh. “No!”
“C'mon. It's not like it'd be the first time.”
“That was for medical reasons, Buck.”
“This is a medical reason.”
Eddie stroked a hand through his hair, lightly scratching at his scalp and Buck kind of had the urge to purr. “You're not dying. You're just cold.”
Buck tilted his head up when Eddie leaned closer, but he ignored the lips that were plainly asking to be kissed, and whispered into his ear instead. “And you still smell like turtle.”
Buck spluttered out a laugh. It was true, but, damn. Eddie didn't have to plainly roast him like this.
Or: Buck plans a date at the zoo to tell Eddie how he feels, and things pretty much derail from there.
