anywhoooo i started my senior year of college on monday, i can’t believe it! this semester im taking fundamentals of soil science, sedimentology, maps and spatial reasoning, economic geology, and a geology senior seminar course. im very excited for what this school year will bring!

- finished tectosilicate lab for optical mineralogy

cried actual tears over this graph but i got it done!!! r studio is my arch nemesis but i defeated it today 😈

- finished volcanic rock lab for petrology

- worked on granitoid lab for petrology

- finished hurricane assignment for natural disasters

- worked on scatterplot r assignment for days analysis

- went to geo club

feels good to be back in the lab! wouldn’t have guessed that i’d miss my microscope but i definitely did hehe

- worked on el reno tornado presentation for natural disasters

- took notes for natural disasters

- studied for natural disasters exam

- studied for petrology exam

- finished histogram assignment for geologic data analysis

both of my labs were cancelled today so i had my whole day free to study and get ahead on some projects before spring break. really thankful i had all that time in the morning because my apartment started having major leaking problems with our sink in the afternoon, and we had maintenance men in and out of our place until 9 pm 😵‍💫 so so so distracting, and they couldn’t even fix the sink! fingers crossed they’ll be able to actually fix it tomorrow

- studied for environmental regulation exam

- studied for optical mineralogy exam

- did laundry

- redid my leopard gecko’s tank

managed to get everything i needed done, even if i procrastinated with laundry and pet stuff first lol
