You’re not late at all, thank you for the birthday wishes and the kind words, they are all very much appreciated!

7. If you could be a mythical creature, which would you choose?
A wise old grumpy dragon, i would have a princess, a place i call home, lots of gold, wings and i could burn my enemies. I wouldn’t do it but I could.
21. What are you most thankful for?
My ability to get myself out of trouble no matter what happens and to use that to help people
43. What is one thing you want to overcome/conquer?
The market, i want to be a businesswoman. But also there are many things I want to learn: how to drive a camion, have the ability to edit videos, how to repair a car, coding … and I want a 4.7 GPA PLEASE GODS OF ACADEMIA GRANT MY WISH
Hello! :) This is for the 40 questions meme for fic writers thing: 2, 8, 9, 16, 21, 26, 30, 32, 38, 39. Yeah, these might be a lot of questions, sorry, ahaha ._. But I would love to read your answers to them :3 Anyway, have a great day ahead!!! :DDD
Don’t be sorry! Answering lots of questions is my jam. (9 however, has already been answered here.)
2. Is there a trope you’ve yet to try your hand at, but really want to?
I’ve always had a hankering to try my hand at Omegaverse, but I can never think of a good story in which to enable it, and I know that my skills in the area of writing smut just aren’t up to it. In the end, I just give up and end up reading PetraTodd’s Wreath and Run for the hundredth time instead.
8. Share a snippet from one of your favorite dialogue scenes you’ve written and explain why you’re proud of it.
Her giggles faded away as he lifted his gaze towards her, and the same look of quiet terror overcame her features. She worried at her bottom lip.
"What if I fail, Sherlock? What if I’m not a good mum? What if – what if my child gets taken into – I don’t know – social services or something, because I don’t measure up? I don’t want my child to be a statistic."
Sherlock felt himself smile. If sober, he would not have known quite what to say when confronted with this heartfelt confession of emotion; but on seeing his friend, his Molly, upset and scared and nervous when she should’ve been happy and at peace, he knew he needed to provide her with at least a crumb of comfort. Gently, he reached forward and cupped her cheeks with both his hands. Her brown eyes lightened with warmth.
"Any child of yours, Molly Hooper, will be a wonder to behold." ~ Vikings, chap. 1
Sometimes, when I’m writing, I’ll write a line or a passage and just think “this feels… right.” It’s not a peacock thing, like I’m ruffling my feathers and showing off just how fabulous I am (because I’m really not), but there are rare, tangible moments where I write something, and everything about it feels good—the dialogue, the gestures, the setting and the thoughts of the character. It feels right, as if it’s the last piece in the puzzle. This segment was most definitely one of those.
16. If you only could write one pairing for the rest of your life, which pairing would it be?
Well, that’s pretty obvious isn’t it? It would be Sherlolly. Yes, I’d have to write it for the rest of my life, but when I’m grey and wrinkling, I could always retire.
21. How many times do you usually revise your fic/chapter before posting?
Oh, I’m terrible at revising my fics/chapters before posting. I tend to give them a once-over before I finally let them go onto the internet. I should be more disciplined, but I’m greedy and need validation. Blame my cripplingly low self-esteem.
26. Do you beta yourself? If so, what kind of beta are you?
I do beta, but currently to only one story, and it’s actually the first time I’ve beta’d, so it’s a learning curve. All I can really hope to do is give advice and hope that it helps, and doesn’t hinder, people.
30. Do you accept prompts?
Yes, but I hold the right to refuse them.
32. How do you feel about smut?
It’s a running joke among my group of friends about the prolific amount of smut that I write on Tumblr (it’s the perils of having your friends follow you on this website), so that should give you an idea of how I feel about it. (Translation: YES. ALL THE SMUT. ALL THE TIME.)
38. Talk about a review that made your day.
I really enjoyed this. You wrote a 3600 word novel, you know. This story had a lot of meat on its bones; meaning there was a lot of depth and lot said in so few words. Absolutely brilliant! I love Molly being written in a position where she gets to be the hero. I hope they do that in series 4. The ending really knocked the wind out of me, but it was absolutely perfect. Well done! ~ What We Pretend to Be, sherlollymouse
The majority of comments/reviews I receive always make my day, but this one just really made me smile. I think it was because this was a story I hadn’t thought about for a long time, hadn’t received that much attention and so, when this comment popped up in my inbox, it felt really good.
39. Do you ever get rude reviews and how do you deal with them?
I have got one or two rude reviews in the past. Most of them have been from guest/anonymous reviewers, so I’ve been unable to do anything but ignore it and rant to my rapidly confused mother (who does try to keep up, bless her, despite not knowing what fanfiction means or involves and tends to look like a startled deer whenever I try to explain it).
When it’s not a guest reviewer, and I do have a chance to reply, I don’t allow myself to get embroiled in an argument. I walk away and calm down and then reply, usually to politely explain exactly why I did the thing that they don’t agree with and have got their knickers into such a twist about.
Also - REN TSURUGA *SIGH* I dunno why, but when I rediscovered and read Skip Beat last week, I cannot help but imagine Benedict Cumberbatch as Ren! *squee* I couldn't imagine Loo as Kyoko, for now, but yeah :P
I know I can so imagine him as Benedict. `wistful sigh`….yeah I can’t think of Loo as kyoko either, more because of personality than looks, though. Kyoko is kinda mental you know…but I love her for it. :D
It's still going on, is it? I'm at Vol 28(?) and the latest is Vol 35(?) from what I could remember. I used to read the manga in the library and had to wait for new volumes to come out, so I can understand about the waiting ;)
Then you know what it feels to be a Skip beat. :P Not to mention the romance is depressingly slow and though it’s picking up space and I kind of want to give you spoilers in my excitement, but I am refraining myself. :)
SKIP BEAT SKIP BEAT SKIP BEAT SKIP BEAT OMG I WAS JUST READING IT A DAY AGO AND I HAVE ALL THE 25 ANIME EPISODES DOWNLOADED JUST THIS WEEK OMG SKIP BEAT SKIP BEAT SKIP BEAT
Lol. Yes, It is my favourite anime and manga. Especially, the manga. Once you read it, you will be unable to let go of it and will have to suffer waiting for it’s releases for a month. So, be prepared. :P
Oh no D: I hope you recover from that nasty cold as quick as you can! It's okay if you can't write - maybe take a day off? Your stories are amazing, they're worth a second or third read-through anyway! May the amazing power of BBC Sherlock guide you through this cold~ >-< Get well soon! :DDD
Ah you are so sweet! Thank you! Unfortunately, I still have a full day of work ahead. I hope I survive! And to be honest, I think I’m sick because I haven’t written as much as I’ve wanted to. Sigh. It’s a vicious cycle. I miss writing already. Your message made me smile though, so thank you :) xx
- I can get very enthusiastic about minor things like - a good cup of tea or a really delightful piece of carrot cake, (or really large things, depending upon your view. )
- I have a yearly Jane Austen-period, where I dive into her books and somehow end up sitting by candle-light a bit too often (re-visiting the various series/films as well) with my hair braided.
- I obviously know the opening line to Pride and Prejudice.
zoraarian:
- I tend to be very honest, though I've luckily learned when to stop talking (half of the time that is).
- When I'm feeling shitty I can just write it away.
100years-to-live:
- I often manage to 'find' things I want for free. Like when I was out shopping, and found a free viewing of Pride and Prejudice (the 2005 version) when it was just released in Oslo, by looking somewhere randomly. Or film-posters, etc, premieres etc. I'm actually rather lucky, or well I like to believe I am. One time I was broke, I bet my last ten crown just for fun and won 2000 crowns (200 pounds).
and let's pretend i made up some really cool facts about myself, i got tired mid-sentence.
