Ash and Kiawe didn’t really confess to each other like one would think. They instead kind of went from being friends to being in a relationship almost without even needing to talk about it- though they did eventually.

It was easy for them to adapt to dating, since they already had a lot of love and respect for each other. It also helped that they were both fine with hugs and hand holding.

Surprising absolutely nobody, some of their dates included them training or signing up for battling competitions. Whether they were working together or competing against each other, they had a blast.

That was, when they were in the same region. It wasn’t uncommon for them to be across the world from each other for various reasons, but they kept in close contact even during those times.

When they saw each other after a long time, it was hard to miss the spark in their eyes and how big their smiles were. Their love for each other was so clear to anyone who knew them.
