So….I just realized that Penn’s “little birds” that he gets information from at stables, are, in fact, little birds

I thought “little birds” was always just his code for employees at the stables or travelers he has on retainer. I didn’t notice until I got to the stable just outside Goron city (that’s where I took the picture above, sorry for the shit quality) I noticed he was mumbling to himself and realized that there where birds around his feet, that fly away if you get to close, he doesn’t look up till you talk to him though. The birds always go back after a few seconds.

He does this at A LOT of stables too! If he isn’t talking to a person he is talking to a group of little birds at his feet.

Also! The Rito people being able to communicate with regular birds makes perfect sense, but it’s something, I don’t know why, I never once considered
