Konjiki no Sabaku/Golden Desert

1. favorite character?

I am bound by loyalty to say Ger but… it’s actually Talharmine. I l o v e beautifully built characters who are horrible people and boy is she horrible and BOY do I love her.

2. favorite person to play said favorite character?

Role of Kanochan’s life. I’m so happy she got to play it and will possibly be the only one ever to. This role belongs to her.

Ger. Definitely Ger.

LAKME. BADASS BANDIT LADY.And Queen Amudarya. What can I say. That dress looks impossible to move in but she’s just so MUCH.

Probably Golaas. Nice, funny, likes birbs. Yup.

I’d say Sonailu and Sharadeha bc they’re an absolute delight to watch on stage.

You know those rare instances where you see the hero become the villain and the transition is clear and smooth and horrifying and terrible but at the same time so well executed that you can buy into it? This is the moment it starts happening. If that makes any sense at all.

Maybe Ger and Virmaya’s duet. That’s literally what it’s called . ジャーとヴィルマーヤの歌. I like to call it 変わらぬ心で bc it sounds nice and it’s the last lyric of the song, but Ueda sensei wasn’t merciful enough to give it a proper title

13. favorite head cannon?

Rather than a headcanon it’s like. Several pre-engagement moments of fluff between Ger and Virmaya. I don’t know, maybe as kids Ger got beaten up a lot, being a slave, and Virmaya being the sweetheart she is would FREAK OUT and cry and worry for him and personally tend to him even though it was probably frowned upon, with her being a princess, and Ger being the the absolute selfless cutie he his would put on a brave face and play it off as if it didn’t hurt, even thought it HURT LIKE HELL, to ease her mind. And I have A TON of those small moments in my head so you know.Can you tell what my OTP in this show is.

1. Uhh god I’ve never really considered this one. Uhmmmm. Maybe bento boxes? That would be cute I? think?

2. Hhhhmmm... Favourite piece of official merchandise is definitely Mirio’s earlier design hand towel, I honestly love that abstract flower pattern. 

3. If we’re not counting  DVDs or photobooks I uh... have nothing at the top of my to buy list? But if we include those then it’s DEFINITELY Sekkashou/Golden Desert Bluray.

1. Musumeyaku fashion oh my god have you SEEN them they FINE AS HELL. Otokoyaku, with the exception of some extraordinary cases like Arata Tokiya, usually take a while to find a proper, defined style, most just tend to get stuck in a limbo where they’re unsure whether to shop in the men’s section or wear the most “manly” items they find in the women’s section so they just mix stuff up and sometimes disasters happen so. Ya.

2. TAKE THE MAIN HANA UNDERCLASSMEN (Ayaki Hikari, Yabuki Sena, Hiryuu Tsukasa, Aren Touma and Hozumi Mahiro) PUT THEM IN A BOY BAND AND CALL IT “HANA YORI DANGO” DO IT NOW GO.

1. Favourite solo as in, a song? Right now it’s without a doubt Fukushuu Koso Waga Koi from Golden Desert. That, and perhaps My Eyes from I Love Einstein (NOT OVER IT NEVER OVER IT) but it really changes quite often so.

☼: Which sienne is your favorite? What do you like about them? Which role of theirs did you enjoy most?

The apple of my eye, my pride and joy Aren Touma. Her face is heaven and she can light up the whole Hana no Michi when she smiles. She’s extremely talented and versatile, a spectacular dancer and an amazing singer and actress. She is an VERY well-balanced performer and has a strong personality and so, so, SO much unrefined unpolished potential and oh boy. If I enjoy what she does now, I just can’t WAIT to see what she’ll become when given a little time and experience.By now my favourite role she did is Wolff from I Love Einstein but Jake from Stardom also has a special place in my heart. (also her Black Angel in Elisabeth bc she got it at ken 2 and that was the first time I saw her live and noticed her(big forehead) so.)

❄: Which Nihonmono is your favourite? What’s your favorite Shakespeare adaption? What bow hall show did you you enjoy most?

1. ooooooOOOOOOOOHH YUKARIKO. Well maybe not, it’s definitely not the best nihonmono out there but for some reason it’s the one that stuck with me the most and I hold it very dear. Shinjuu because it objectively has to be the best nihonmono I’ve ever seen. Bonus/obligatory Sekkashou because you don’t get nihonmono revues that get this close to actual real perfection every day.2. It has to be Two Noble Kinsmen. There is just something about it. Hamlet!! and Puck were also contenders but the sweetness of the early MasaMiri days and the cruel bittersweet irony in how the plot of the play turned out to be an allegory of their careers still holds me.3. I Love Einstein would be the winner if only for the fact it’s the one Bow Hall show I got to see live but. That show. Is seriously one of the best things I’ve seen in Zuka. It has flaws, it gets problematic and it’s far from perfect but there is SO MUCH ABOUT IT. SO MUCH.

- What I first noticed about themIt’s really hard to remember. I have no idea how I got so attached to her. I think one of the very first things I saw of her was her Chauvelin and I think that says a lot about how frigging much I like her other stuff. I guess the first thing that stuck with me was her voice because that’s how I work, usually. That and probably her faces. Yeah I’m going with the faces.

- My favorite thing about themBoy this is hard.I don’t think there is anything I really dislike about her.I guess her singing voice is still the top on my list but... I guess that her hands movement also deserve an honorable mention because? Have you seen her hands

- What I think they need to work onHer singing in her natural voice. Don’t get me wrong, her current technique is gr8 for what she does but I’m constantly thinking of what she could be doing in her natural voice if she got some proper training. Especially on the high notes. You don’t exactly think of Mirio as a belter but she has the potential to be. Oh boy does she.

- My dream role/AU zuka history for themYou know what?After she actually really did play my number 1 dream role for her (Valmont) I consider myself satisfied. I would still like her to play Yukariko one day but you won’t find me complaining if she never does.As for the other question, Zuka AU in which everything is the same except Hankyu doesn’t completely boycott MasaMiri and they get to do fun collab stuffs together when they’re tops in different troupes.

He never realised he might be feeling more (and like A LOT MORE) than brotherly love for his brother-in-law. They were the only ones each other could cling to to process the grief. And Thomas has to work A LOT on himself to get over the pain and regret of the past knowing that it was Eduard who caused the death of the two. But he also knew he couldn’t blame him and Eduard already blamed himself enough for something he’d had no control over whatsoever. And I can totally see their relationship bloom out and them beginning to heal, and figure out this weird familial bond they somehow share and ooohhh ahah this is going somewhere sappy and painful I’ll stop.

3. The entirety of My Eyes (his solo number) because those lyrics make me shiver all over. As awkward the first line of the chorus (”I see with my eyes”) it somehow sounds perfect in context “I see with my eyes, I’ll see everything through. Granting you the heavenly punishment for your love, that is the mission I’ve taken onto myself!”2. His monologue at the end of act 1. 1. This BEAUTIFUL exchange he has with Albert after he explains all that he did and why. And as he goes to explain he went all that distance because he made it his mission to grant Albert and Mileva’s dream, the dialogue goesAlbert: how arrogant of you. (傲慢だな。)Thomas: takes one to know one.　(お互い様だろう。)And it’s burned into my memory because it’s so simple and yet it’s their relationship in a nutshell and it’s brilliant
