The social networks where art goes to die. Zukerberg killed Myspace, which was once a lovely place for artists and musicians. Then turned his own platform into a moneysucker monster. So a very precious alternative popped up some year later, it was Instagram, it was a new ‘myspace’, but Zukerberg bought it anyway, and since last January he changed the algorithm, and now, a little differently than facebook, only pictures with erotic contents (not too explicit) are gonna be seen, or pictures of animals, or complete strangers with 12 followers!! and if indipendent artists wanna share their art, nobody is gonna see it, because Zukerberg doesn’t want artist to earn money from his platforms, unless you give him a fee (ads), but IG and FB ads are extremely expensive, because bigger brands buy it (Ford, volkswagen, mc Donald, ecc ). So basically, indie artists who bought atleast once and advertisement from FB or IG, are going to die, (because if they’ve bought it once, Zukerberg believes they’re willing to buy ads if they don’t get attention sooner or later). This new algorithm is destroying smaller businesses. Please SHARE.
