Seed Sr is "Seed" just as Seed Jr is. They are one unit, with only one of them being conscious/alive.

The same applies to Orphie and Magus. While they are more distinguishable from each other than Xiao'guang and 'Ye Shunguang,' They are distinctly called out as one Unit by the game.

A "Companion" is a physically distinct entity from the Main Agent, capable of making decisions, expressing emotion, or having an ability to react to stimuli - specifically with the Qingming Sword being able to 'choose' its wielder, and manufacturing things and places based on the Memories of those that have a connection to it in some way. It clearly has some means of observing people, given that it rejected others until Ye Shunguang held it, such as Yixuan and Le.
