so first ever townie makeover in ts4 and this is all @robertpancakes fault

i present two everyday outfits and one party ‘fit for this joaquin le chien remix

(in reality , this makeover is the sim’s fault for hitting on mine - we don’t do busted townie romances , so the moment they were feelin’ the vibe , i knew i had to give him the cleanup)

i had this idea that i would challenge myself not to touch any facial features (for some reason ??) and just use skins (but somehow changing the body preset didn’t apply to this logic ??? idk - some of those EA body preset proportions i cannot forgive) - my inspirations were steven james hyde III (that 70′s show) + kurtis connor (overkillsimmer’s kurtis connor tats felt the most relevant in the moment) + some wild amalgamation of whatever my brain thinks would suit him based on his official bio vs sim interactions in game , as well as the -glory- that is robertpancakes’ meow meow masterpiece ~ (i love revolting clown-like boys because i , too , am a revolting clown-like boy at times <3)

i may change my mind about not altering his face at all (very likely) but this is it for now ~ (i did his whole wardrobe , but don’t have pics ready so we’ll see the rest probably in gameplay screenshots tbh - he invited beau to join spinmasters and it’s gettin’ cute idc)

- sweet wild-child , lover of wanderlust -

even being raised by a polycule in a self-sustained commune wasn’t enough freedom for syn , who left home as a young teen to follow virs dreams of seeing worlds beyond the familial hub in Evergreen Harbor - with a loveable caravan of delinquents to keep vir company , syn hopped trains , boats and automobiles , letting passion and curiosity be the guide (as well as some very seasoned world travelers in vir’s company who knew a thing or two about surviving a nomadic journey) - syn learned new skills necessary for providing for virself and contributing to the group , while satisfying varied interests in the local cultures where they’d land - building solid relationships along the way proved mutually beneficial on many occasions , but learning how to build stability in one place is something that syn is still practicing ~ 

random facts : 

prefers hands-on experience to book-learning and struggles with logic

tries to visit the fam in Evergreen Harbor at least once every other season

avid fan of bees and tries to plant flowers for them everyplace vi stays

has a smiley piercing as ornament to vir missing tooth and scar , for cute

background : auri was still small when she was lured by a mischievous faun from the caves deep within the islands mountains - (he would have been lunch were it not for the hypnotic melody that put her easily into trance) - the faun hadn’t any intention to steal young auri away from home but cyclops’ aren’t typically known for their smarts , so he took pity when he realized she didn’t know her way back to her cave - since he definitely didn’t want to go back there in time for dinner , he decided to enchant her with enhanced intelligence that she might help herself back home - instead , she grew more curious about the new world around her and welcomed herself to understand it better ~ her faun-friend stuck around for the ride to introduce auri to all manner of delight and debauchery , though he can hardly convince her to seek his kind of adventure outside of books ~
