Breaking News: Final EAD rules out!
The long awaited rules on I-140 EAD rules are finally out. The rule will be effective from January 17, 2017.

On Friday March 18th, USCIS issued a final memo on determining ‘same or similar’ occupations. This in the context of pending employment-based cases for adjustment of status. Here is a link.
I have not read it in detail yet but hope to do so after the H1b lottery season is over. The intent is to provide guidance regarding when a job is same or similar.
