Just wanted to share some illustrations I did for my creative illustration class. The prompt was to take 3 lines from a book, so I chose Fahrenheit 451 🔥

I promise I'm posting art at some point but I need to tell you about this spider I saw today [below the cut - he doesn't do anything he's just really stupid and I love him]

I ADDED A PHOTO HE'S JUST REALLY SMALL AND STUPID

So picture this little house spider and this big square mirror with a frame around it

The spiders trying to clamp the wall onto the mirror and he does so by inching towards it like a cat before pouncing so he can get onto the bottom part of the frame, so now he's climbing up to the glass bit

I don't think he understands how reflections work 💔💔

You are not going to pass a skillcheck against a rip current once it has you.

Waves will not bow to your physical prowess no matter how impressive.

Shock does not care that you used to be on your school swim team.

If you hit your head, being good at swimming isn't going to turn you face-up while you're unconscious.

You may be unable to return to shore. Rescue may be unable to find you quickly.
