Steve could tell the women was scared or nervous around him, he could practically taste it on his tongue and he sighed to himself because it was his own fault that she was scared of him. Usually being called Ma’am would have irritated her in the vein of “how old did he think she was?”, but instead it helped put her more at ease. His respect was reassuring. Sure, she was still uneasy, but her hands stopped trembling as she came farther into the room.

Steve knew Tony hired a tailor to make his new uniform but he couldn’t be bothered by it today. The former Asset didn’t want to spend hours trying to come up with a new look when his was just find but apparently it reminded the team of when he was controlled by Hydra. He sighed as he heard the elevator go off. “You the tailor?”

It almost felt traitorous to be designing a uniform for the former Winter Soldier, but Madge was trying to convince herself otherwise. He had saved people; he was a good man now. She took a deep breath before the elevator doors opened and tried to keep her hands shaking from nerves, or was it fear? Still, she walked into the room with perfect posture and an assured smile on her face.

“That’s me. Madge Addams at your service. Decided it was time for a new look?”
