headcanon collection ONE. these headcanons are blog-specific, & my OWN interpretation of Lila / Volpina. If or when these are disproved by canon, they will be changed accordingly.

FAMILY !

Whether or not Lila was lying about her parents being diplomats remains unconfirmed, but, regardless of their profession, her parents are extremely STRICT. While they are not around much, they do keep a tight leash on their daughter. Because of this, Lila has learned to perfect the art of lying to keep her parents off her back.

TELLS !

Lila, obviously, is very good at lying, & uses this talent to get what she wants. Usually, what she wants is respect or admiration, & she’s willing to boast about things she doesn’t have in order to get it. HOWEVER, someone who knows Lila well can tell she has certain tics & tells to signal a lie, though they’re not easy to see : she might gesture more than usual, narrow her eyes, or provide more information than is strictly necessary.

CRUSHES !

Lila’s crushes are like tornadoes : they don’t last long, but they are INTENSE. When she falls for someone she will do & say anything to impress them, & she’s willing to be blunt or even downright manipulative in the process. She won’t hesitate to make her crush known —— but only once she knows her feelings are reciprocated.
