hey friends today imma show you a cool thing abt colouring miraculous and it’s why most my psds look really similar but i live for cyans so idc let’s get to the business

here’s a plain miraculous screencap. ok so i usually start my psds with a contrasting curves layer bUT THAT’S NOT WE ARE HERE TO DISCUSS let’s talk ☆*~ﾟ⌒hue and saturation⌒ﾟ~*☆

ok listen you see the part that says ‘master’?? yeah click that it says colours from there u can adjust colours separately. BRIGHT GREENS/LIMES ALWAYS FALL UNDER YELLOW REMEMBER THIS WITH CHAT NOIR it’s annoying but it’s how it works

so i’ve desaturated completely all colours except yellow, cyan and red, and i turned the saturation and lightness way down on red so that’s a thing (hey it’s akuma bug!) anyway if u wanna do some mega cool adjustments, make a black and white layer beneath the hue and saturation layer and set it to soft light.

i made the reds normal on hue and saturation to made this easier to explain. there isn’t much to it tho just adjust those bars how you like and the image will change with it, it’s pretty sweet. so that’s colour isolation fam here’s a comparison of the image w/o the b&w layer for your eyes to visually see
