John and John in thought 🤔 WHERE ARE MY GIANTS FANS AT! I've been meaning to get my fanart streak for They Might be Giants going months ago, so we are starting now!

I'm so sad that there aren't that many fan artists for them given their massive catalog, so expect me to fangirl some days 🤧

WEEK 1 of 100 days of Hallow 🌲

So, quite the interesting start, I was already feeling stressed that it was only sketches but I could just come back to them when I feel more confident in what rendering style I want to do for them. So I hope the sketches are just as fun! Also, I didn't make 07/30 and 08/03 prompts in time but will be for next Tuesday's post. And now for our doodles!

✨️07/29: I wanted to start off with a bang by doing a rendered illustration, but it didn't pull through in time. I want Hallow's aesthetic to be subtle warmth, so for example, they would go around town and just relax in a mid day setting (I'm coming back to this one definitely)

✨️Bonus: It was also lipstick day, so I had quick doodles for that

✨️07/31: More outdoor exploration, they are in an art studio of some kind. I want to use this challenge to make background based art

✨️08/01: It was Girlfriend Day, so I can imagine Markus sharing his love for his favorite girls in his life. Terra is not amused

✨️08/02: It's clown week, so I wanted to make doodles based on Whistle. One of her pastimes is reading any culinary newsletter with her stuff animals. Her right hand bear is Churro

✨️08/04: Today is National Chocolate Cookie Day, and Whistle would definitely indulge in this news

And that's where we are at so far. Hope to see you next Tuesday! I think when we get to a bigger number of work that I'm gonna have render versions of the more elaborate work, but still wanted to commit to posting. Baiiii - Tailsy

all the photos from this shoot are very iconic, especially the ones with the melodica (i've seen the one with Linnell leaning back into Flans be used a million times). i hope Janette Beckman knows what she's done for us

I have a new challenge for myself!! Im doing the 100-day drawing challenge tailored to my webcomic Hallow Souls!

For context, this year will mark me doing this project for 4 years, and I always want to find more ways to push myself to make more art of them and to share with the lovely folks at home.

So how will this go? 🏵🏵🏵 Every Tuesday, I bring 7 art pieces (sketches, comics, drawings, painting, etc.) featuring the main trio and even some of the side characters to do character exploration.
